A couple on here had put up a meet notice for a small party which we responded to .

Today we got a reply saying the Mr J was not to his wife's liking.

Ho hum , life goes on.

We then had a peak to who has been looking at our profile as we had changed it a bit and noticed something odd , they had not looked at our profile .

Had a think about and wondered what , other than our avatar, she had seen to put her off .

Went to send a message to ask what they had seen and found they had blocked us ffs .

What the hell !!!

We only block as a last resort when someone seriously pisses us off and to date we only have one couple blocked .

Don't know why we bother really .

Plus just because that is how you use the block facility doesn't mean it's how everyone does.

Brush yourselves off and move along

We block as soon as we decide someone isn't for us, we've found that most people seem to forget they emailed us a got a 'no thanks' a few weeks ago so it's stops having to repeat ourselves

They could of used the privacy option x not show on who has looked at your profile..

how do u know they didnt luk at yur profile?they could have their profile set to hide others seeing tht they viewed their profile

Don't worry about it and remember you can view others profiles without them knowing you have by turning on that feature in the settings

They probably viewed you but set their settings so it doesn't show up. We set ours to that after getting messages from guys whose profiles we'd looked at when searching but not messaged coz they didn't appeal. Some people block profiles they're not interested in to save wasting time with any future contact. I doubt it was anything you'd done.

I think once it has been established that there is no attraction blocking is the senisble logical way to go on here.

We arent really looking for "friends" with those we arent looking to meet and to be fair quite often you will send a polite reply saying "no thanks not our type" and a week later you just get a message again.

Blocking stops both of the above, the big shame is the block list is so small.
