Like..how do you take em I always feel super awkward and can never take a good pic haha and feel it's putting a roadblock in all aspects both here & dating in general, any advice that doesn't require me getting plastic surgery

Ohh that..well I'll admit that's a Christmas pic I dyed my beard white for Christmas day to surprise my family

It's a man thing, I think. There seem to be three kinds of men on here. The chiseled fella, oozing body confidence. The second group are delusional, tiny cocks and big bellies, convinced that it is enough that they show up. The third and final group are the rest of us fairly ordinary men who have had a lifetime of being told that being attractive is for women only. It takes a huge effort to even think about what it is about us that is attractive to other people, men or women. I signed up for Grindr last year and suddenly discovered that I was a bit of commodity. I don't think I had ever really thought of myself as desireable before. There are some practical things you can do: wash, shave, get a hair cut, trim your pubes, wear some nice perfume, buy some new clothes. Stop using your dad as a role model. The photos might become a little easier. Feel free to ignore me (oh, and I'm not suggesting that I find it any easier to take photos!) Good luck.

haha quite the roller coaster you took me in there but I get it, haha might try selfie stick so they ain't so up close see if that helps thanks I need it

yeesss like I can't do a normal smile pic it just doesn't feel natural to me so I just end up either pulling a silly face to make it quirky or end up with resting asshole face unintentionally, as they say I was cursed with a face for radio haha

For variety why not take a few body shots ?

You can prop up your camera and take a video, then grab a pic from it

I kept it vague simply because people didn't need the specifics,but if you must know I've had a very verbally abusive relationship with my dad(I'm his carer) and years of pent up emotion one day came out of me and I kicked the door now it's one of those cheap hollow doors that are two pieces of chipboard with a cardboard patern and well it split & over time the doors got worse though it still opens and closes just with a bit more wiggle than it should have, I appreciate I should be more specific in future posts as to not leave it to assumptions.

Thanks to all those who posted in my defence I appreciate it.

ahh great idea haha i was going to buy a selfie stick just so I could take pics further than my T-rex arms would allow me

Women have perfected the selfie so don't be afraid to take some inspiration.

Full face photos from directly ahead can be unflattering and have a flattening effect. There's a million tutorials online. Don't be afraid to Google the 'how too'.

The rear facing camera on your phone is much higher quality so you can also prop it somewhere and set timers then simply crop the photos. Or film and export the good frames.

I grimace when I take selfies. Do a search for face exercises that actors use to 'warm up'. Lion face/lemon face is a good one.

You don't have to smile unless your feeling it but you can put yourself in situations where a photo taken in the moment will shine through. Enjoying the sun, snap it. Feeling amorous, snap it.

Don't be afraid to go full on Blue Steel. No one will see them but you.

Done good advice in here. I am not great at taking pictures but that's because I don't take the time.

I think doing a bit of research and trying to copy is the way forward.

I would suggest you treat it like taking a picture of a car you wish to sell.

Think angles and all sides.

You can have the boring straight on shots with no action but you love of get the point. Do a few of them then have fun and try the filming idea and just pose in front of a clear plain backdrop turning and trying different facial expressions.

Remember and pause once you've tried a pose so if it looks good you can snip it.

Try taking timed or time lapse shots but using reflective surfaces.

Or even try props if you wish to show off a belt or strap you like using during play.

Don't be too in your face always leave something to the imagination. But have those clear flattering cock pictures available as some people may ask.

Lastly use the edit and filter functions. But adjusting contrast or making something black and white or even blurring a busy background can help.

Sorry for waffling after all I am rubbish at pictures and only really repeating what I've researched and yet to try. Xx

My general rule is if I’m happy to take the photo and I like the angles. I’ll show off. As others said angle can help. Timers on your phone can help for pictures if you don’t have a Bluetooth clicker etc. x

Had a nosy. Your pictures look fun and quirky. Keep being you. Show off your quirky personality or your body shape if you’re into that.
