Hi all, just wanting other opinions regarding face pics. We have noticed that the majority of couples initially start posting pics with their faces hidden but eventually post some that show who they are.

We realise that discretion is important and are wondering if its worth taking the risk.

Has anyone posted face pics that they eventually regretted or did it result in a lot more messages and meets?

Any feedback welcome.....

Personally, I've never posted my face pic into 'public'. But since I've been attending socials and showing face on cam, I've not had any bad experiences. But that was when I was sure that I couldn't be sacked for having a slightly-less-than-conventional sex life.

Now I'm looking for a new job, I'm not sure that I can continue to show my face on cam. And it's not that I work in a particularly sensitive area (e.g. I can understand that primary school teachers would be very nervous of having a face pic in public).

I know that many of my very good friends from Fab would be happy for me to work along side them. But, there will be some recruiting managers who are swingers, but who would fear being 'outed' as a swinger by someone they've seen in chat, but don't trust

Now! Where did I put that nice corset?

We used to have public face pics until a workmate of S's saw our profile and started playing mindfuck games (he was using a fake name and had no pics in case his wife found out). Never again

If you get recognised you could get a whole heap of unwanted attention, not to mention hassle from people who don't get or understand the lifestyle.

We wouldn't put face pictures in public. We were recently contacted by someone one of us works with who we wouldn't have met so were glad that he couldn't identify us .

Since a recent indiscretion by someone else I will be very wary of posting any information about myself too.

I think so, you can e-mail face pictures to people or keep them in private and send them that way. I'm also a great believer in keeping your face obscured in any unclothed photos even the private ones.

We have no issue showing our faces in pics. Both of us have jobs for which intense vetting is needed (much deeper than the standard investigations) but we were open and honest so no-one can hold anything over us about being on such a site.

It would be nice though, that when face pics are shared they do show the people as they are now and not taken 20 years ago!

You could do like I do and put filter effects over a face photo. People are seeing your face but it's too built up to look exactly like the real you, so you're being honest and still careful

I won't ever hide who I am, not for any reason...family, workmates, employers, stalkers..

I choose to be as open on here as I am anywhere else...I guess it depends if its just a bit of fun in your free time or a lifestyle choice?

So why is it that everybody INSISTS to see a single male face photo BUT WE CANT SEE YOURS!!!

We also are have a right to be protected on privacy and confidentiality respect I hope.

Anyone got any thoughts on that?

You have to remember that once your pic is in your public gallery or you send a pic to someone it can end up any where... More than one person/couple have found their pics on a porn site... Would you want your face on that pic?

We insist on seeing a single male or a couples face pictures but fully expect them to send them separately and keep them private, we always send them ours in the same way.

if i send a face pic to anyone, i wait until they have read the message and then delete the photo. not always fool proof but pic is usually deleted within 2 mins of them reading the message

Never on public pics .. Our gripe is single guys who want to be "freinds" who really just want to se more pictures .. Sometimes it offends but we are now very careful who we accept as friends

We respect your views but taking it to its natural conclusion that would mean you would never even share pictures with a partner, in the event they turned up in public after a break-up.

We suspect that there are more than a few single female profiles that have been set up by bitter exes.....

Yes, we have seen a few suspect profiles where they are supposedly a single female but the pictures just don't feel right. They tend to have a few face pics on their profile and the wording seems to sound more like a guy.

If we are wrong then we are missing out on a lot of opportunities lol!

I think that if it feels wrong to you then trust your instinct. We've missed out on lots of couples because the lady is always too busy in the shower or getting the children to bed to chat to us

There are some sneaky local idiots who trawl looking for people they know. What they do is create a false new profile name. Say "Hi Can we see your face piccies please" and then when you send them they mysteriously disappear. We think they might be people looking to cause harm but as yet nothing has happened but beware even if you keep your face pix hidden there are crafty sods that know how to get them off you.

We have face photos of us both in private but not on the public ones but have noticed that even on a lot of the couples profiles you don't see many of the man's face photos even on the private ones when you are sent a friend request

I think discretion is better. If you can't apprecaite our requirement to be discrete then your not for us.

By same token we won't meet anyone without seeing a face picture of potential meets and vice versa, however the face picture doesnt have to be nude or rude we just want to see the faces of the people we are going to meet (even though D is mostly blindfolded lol)

As a single male as well as part of a couple it's amazing how many people I've ound who won't supply a face pic and to be honest it sets alarm bells off.
