Do admin actually take any action when somebody is reported?

A friend of mine had pics of her from a meet posted by a man without her consent. She's got very identifiable tattoos and piercings and she was really unhappy when he refused to remove them. She's actually deleted her account now because of it all and asked me to report the pics. Admin don't seem to have done a thing about it. Surely this is illegal?

Admin investigate all reports, but you have to be patient and give them time to do so as they are all volunteers and not on here 24/7.

If the pictures are of an intimate nature then yes, the other person sharing them is illegal under revenge porn laws and she can report the matter to the Police

Please ask her to contact the police. Admin can just remove him from this site, not stop him posting them elsewhere.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I'm trying my best to just support her and show her all the love I can. I'll definitely mention the police to her when I see her later on. She made one silly mistake and it's causing a lot of issues now. Thanks again

I don't think she made a mistake. Her trust was violated and abused. This is solely on the person that did it and not her in my opinion.

Oh no she made the mistake of allowing pics to be taken. She is against having intimate photos like the ones he's posted to be taken but he was insistent so she went along with it. Like I said, I'm just trying my best to support her in any way I can x

It's so easy to get coerced though. I get why she is blaming herself, I'd definitely be the same. Just this is very much on his horrid behaviour. I hope she will be ok soon. Thank you for supporting her. So many would tell her it's not a big deal or to get over it.

There is a process when people report nicked pics. The person will get a mail saying they are looking into it, then one when resolved.

Reports can take up to 48 hours to be looked at and actioned, but pic reports can take a bit longer as the process is different.
