Younger people attending events

How do people feel in general about those that tend to be younger attending any kind of swinging events, those around my age?

Have been wanting to go to an event for a while but I’m worried about stigma around people my age, is that the case? Or has anyone been in a similar spot to me before?

Thank you!

If you attend then people ill take you at face value, and probably give you some kudos for attending rather than dismissing you entirely online just because of your age.

That said, if people don't want to play they won't, but attending an event will give you a chance to make some connections across a wide range of people.

For our part, as we do meet people of your age, we would probably test the water face to face as that is easier than online and take it from there.

Good luck

Age is not the important thing. How you get on and behave is the thing

They’re also event nights themed purely for 18-30 year olds I have seen as well. Equally some events maybe 40+ etc

Would say just turn up try it out with no expectations other than seeing what a place is like. Type of attendees / venue standard of cleanliness etc

Worst case you burn 50 quid on entry / couple of drinks …

Age in the club scene never seems a big deal from our personal experience with others and watching others. Large age gaps are fairly common and not a big deal. People tend to just hook up by letting chemistry lead the way not age or looks per se.

However it is a bit more nuanced as someone in their early 20s. Especially as a guy. In our experience people tend to have far less scruples about women 18 to early 20s. I think for us having older kids in your age group it's generally just something a bit too close to home. I think this is the same for many as the general demographic is mid 30s plus. So yes we get it's hard as a younger single bloke especially. Especially when its quite obvious they are very young in looks and/or attitude. Although a decent, freindly and quietly confident guy will always go down well at any age.

But I think you also need to ask yourself what you want age wise. If clubs are generally frequented by those mid 30s plus and older do you want people that age? How do you actually get on with older people? If age is just a number to you fine. And of course you do get some younger people in (more so these days). However the irony (for you) is in our experience younger people tend to mainly be attracted to couples and single ladies nights in our experience. But if you want to be with people more like your own age group then (as others have said) maybe you should seeks under 30s nights/parties.

Either/or if you want to go to any club night (which is open to single guys) just go, be yourself and enjoy. Quality blokes always do well and let people just enjoy you for you.

Haven’t seen any yet, maybe I’m not looking hard enough! Would you know of any in the South east area doing this? (London/Southampton)

You might be meat for cougars but then some won't go for anyone younger than their children

IMHO you attending events is a waste of your youth. You ought to be in Yates wine lodge chatting up 21 year old young ladies with all they have to offer. Flirt, chat, learn how to deal with rejection. Going to a swingers event knowing you're going to be somewhat of an anomaly is a bit lazy.
