Hi,

Looking to start the clubbing scene but not sure on which way to go to ease myself in. Would it be easiest to go during the day time and working up to the nights and weekends or does it not matter ?

I don't think it really matters. Most day time clubs differ a lot from the evening/weekend ones as they are usually spa-based. Nobody has to book to come in, just turn up and pay on the door. Most require membership beforehand, particularly for single men, but not all (Rio's in London being the prime example). The clientele normally differs, too- usually a lot of not exactly single men taking advantage of "lunch break" or "flexible hours", with some couples and single women (usually in between school runs).

Evening/weekend- people treat it as a "night out", so a lot of the times they'd be "dressed to impress", and the ratio normally gets monitored, with limited numbers of single men who have to book in advance - that is, when single men are allowed in as some nights are women and couples only.
