So weirdly today an ex outed me on social media, we’re I have family, to being on here .. this is an ex of over two years, we don’t converse in any way.

Yet today he felt that my 2 verifications should be worldly known.

He is blocked on everything so no idea how he knows about veris or even what my name is on here

My ex outed me in similar fashion as well. 6 years later and he still tries to cause trouble for me.

I don’t know why he can’t just move on with his life.

He has a profile on here as well

You have my sympathy.

Mr"

It's such a weird thing to try and expose aswell. He literally has an account himself. I get it's not everyone's cup of tea but there is zero need for his actions.

Sorry this has happened to you.

Sorry for OP and anyone else who has suffered similar. We (as a community) know that there is nothing to be ashamed of however we also know others may not approve. We, and only we should choose whether or not we tell others based on a myriad of factors personal to us.

Much love all

You may want to tell him that this is covered by the Prevention of Malicious Communications Act if it was intended to cause you distress or harm. The police take this very seriously and courts are advised by judicial guidelines to make custodial sentences in proven cases. It’s up to 6 years.

I’ve been there, had to involve the police (which is where this info comes from).

You don’t have to take this crap.

Yea this is similar to revenge porn!

Hit him with the police.

Might as well get some use from the boys and girls in blue.

Sad, awful behaviour. So sorry you have had to go through that. People can be so vindictive.

Report him to the polis. That's verging on revenge porn.

It's possible to make another account on any social media without anyone knowing and still keep tabs on who they wish

This is a crime now. Report him to the police.

Sorry to hear this OP, it must be upsetting for you but you don’t have anything to be embarrassed or ashamed of, he’s told people that you’ve slept with 2 men…that’s not a crime and I doubt your family will think any less of you for it. I’m sure that they knew you weren’t living like a nun anyway….if someone told me the names of 2 men that one of my relatives had slept with then I wouldn’t think any less of my relative…..I understand that it can’t be nice having someone do something that’s obviously intended to upset you but you haven’t done anything wrong. It’s a weak and cowardly act that your ex did and ultimately he’s the one who’s going to be seen as the one in the wrong not you.
