Yes. Mrs doesnt drink at all and as I'm usually driving I don't usually drink either. The way the question was put kinda implies this would be out of the ordinary

I think I’d prefer to have full control of my faculties and therefore not drink.

The idea of one to calm the nerves appeals but one leads to two leads to a bottle. So I’d probably drive!

Don't drink when attending socials or some parties as I drive.

But swingers holidays or weekend meets, we both drink but we are social drinkers so tend not to get pissed.

irrelevant

I don't mix sex and alcohol. For me they just do not go together. I can't cum if I have even a couple of drinks. FUCK THAT

I get a real buzz out of sex, swinging and kink. I want to feel all of it.

I want to be fully in control of myself and my decisions. I definitely don't need alcohol to relax or loosen up

I won't play with others if they are drinking heavily. Just doesn't feel good to me and

Alcohol affects erections.

No rarely drink when expecting to play. Maybe a small glass of something. Driving aside can affect the todger a touch as get older. See lots of men regretting drinking too much at events I would say most of the people I associate with, male and female, don't drink a lot on play nights. If want lots of booze can go down the pub

GONE/TIMEOUT (No DMs please)

It is a shame there aren't more non-bar-based organised socials.

There is a Bowling social in South Wales which is a great idea.

I would love an afternoon tea type social :D

I never drink on a meet.

Always have my car and know I can leave and get home when I want to.

Bowling is great shout and perfect for swingers - the old three fingers in holes shuffle

Wife doesn't drink, I like a couple to ease my nerves, but too many can hinder a meet. Nest plan I think is to brave it & go sober. That way you get to feel the excitement in full. Plenty of chat beforehand should ease nerves

Not intended that way I promise … interested to know how many couples use alcohol for a sprinkling of Dutch courage … some of us struggle to be confident sometimes ..me (Lilly) being one of them

Im eager to learn to be more confident without the use of alcohol… my sex drive is vibrant … just sometimes I need to trust my feelings ect..

I may look confident doesn’t mean I am , I suppose we are all on this journey to improve and express ourselves… take care Lilly

If it's a group meet - camping etc then I drink, but only socially; one or two max.

Any other type of meet I stay clear of it.

Only have one or two when at a club or social and that's only if I feel like it, so not all the time.

We have witnessed d*unk people in clubs and it is not a good look.

I don’t drink at clubs, partly because I’m driving and partly because I don’t want alcohol affecting my faculties or performance.

If it’s an arranged meet it will depend. I may have one socially but usually not as I’m often driving.

We’re obviously bad people because we do like to have a drink when we play unless one of us is driving. We don’t get d*unk or cognitively impaired but we like to drink socially.

We don’t need Dutch courage to swing, we have often done it without a drink passing our lips, but when we go out to socialise in a pub or club we have a drink, same in a swinging club. A couple of drinks does not rob either of us from the ability to consent.

I agree. Those are also the ones who will touch you without consent.

We pretty much always drink if it's a weekend club event, if it's a midweek club night then neither of us drink anything other than water. We don't need alcohol to be horny or confident enough to approach others.

We don't need to drink to meet new people. We like a drink and thus it follows we often do share a drink with new people but it's not essential.

I rarely drink alcohol at clubs, because something i was told resonated with me.

Being into sub/Dom sex, i was told by a Domme about how alcohol can dull the pain sensors & allow you to take more than you wanted.

Also, i once drank way too much in a club & 'came round' in someone's car.

Fortunately they were giving me a lift home, but it was a salutory lesson in moderation.

We don't drink for meets, if we go to a club the Mrs will have a couple to calm social anxiety but that's the only time. Tbf we're not big drinkers in any event, rare we will ever have a drink in general. However, we'd prefer to remember what went on

I have, if it's kink based, I rarely drink because I have health & safety in mind.

Vanilla swing though, I do enjoy a drink, no more than one or two over an entire night but I've also regularly been entirely sober (heart condition so it depends how I feel)
