What to wear?

We are planning on going to a local social but have no idea what you are meant to wear! Dress code was dress like you usually would for a night out but we haven’t been for one in ages. For the F nice top, jeans, skirt? Or dress and heels? M nice shirt and jeans or something fancier? Please help us out because we don’t want to be over or under dressed for the occasion

It's a social occasion and I think the venue can sometimes dictate how fancy to go. Smart casual is a safe bet. People who like to dress up will dress up and people who like to dress down will do that

so all the options you described are fine, depends what you feel most comfortable/confident in and what kind of impression you'd like to make. I think you'll get attention irrespective of outfits.
