Hello all,

We have never had this happen to us, but we came very close in a recent meet and wondered what most people would expect to be the ettiquette.

What do you do in a play scenario when you have put a rubber on in good faith, and either it breaks, or comes off mid flow.

For us it wasn't a huge issue as it was the other guy and it came off as he was exiting Lucy and was extremely diligent in raising the issue and checking with us if we were happy for him to re-rubber and go again. Which we found very sweet of him as for us since he had been entirely honest about it of course we were fine for him to rubber up.

But what does one do in say a couples meet if the rubber breaks and before you know it either you or the other guy has given a wife that's not his a filling that neither of them were expecting?

Accidents happen, what the guy did was spot on. If anyone knew and carried on then both of us would make merry hell & probably mention something on here if we felt it was deliberate - this is a sexual offence and can be reported to the Police.

Oh of course if there was any suggestion of the person knowing it then that's a different thing.

I meant more where it's happened and they genuinely haven't known.

I remember over a decade ago a one night stand where the rubber split on me and I had no idea until it was all over. And it certainly wasn't intentional, it was me who wanted the rubber.

Do you just chalk it up to experience? Does it end the play or do you just say fuck it at that point the damage is already done?

I think it depends on the circumstances, the level of trust you have and whether you take the view that the ‘gun’ had one bullet and the other 5 chambers are blanks

Had one pop mid flow, stopped immediately and rebagged, one slipped off coming out, but contents fully contained, both times my partner was with me, it was noones fault I do get a bit tight and clampy in the full flow.

If had popped after Cummings I would have gone straight for morning after pill and brought forward my regular testing schedule.

The one who rebagged reassured me, as to be fair I could have been a issue to him I guess, but obviously I knew I was OK, and as predicted all tests fine.

A risk we take but we always play safe, bareback is reserved for partners and long term fwb.

Also in my case is contraception. As I don't take the pill, if any question of a spillage straight to chemist.

Sounds like you handled it really well between you all.

From our perspective in the here and now pregnancy isn't a huge issue for either of us since I've had the snip and Lucy has the coil, but of course it's an issue for STIs.

It sounds like the general thing is not to panic and to calmly put in place mitigations

It depends on what everyone agrees

It's not about the damage is done

It's about what everyone is happy with

If that's to end things there

So be it

So it's all about communication

Lets be honest condoms are not 100 reliable so you should be using something else.

It happens, as long as the guy says something we pop another one on and carry on if it was mid-play, it’s no one’s fault but as a precaution I’ll be booking in the clinic two weeks later for a full check up.

If the guy purposely takes it off that’s a different matter.
