Me and my FB have been trying anal over the last week or so, she doesn't mind how it feels but says that the lube stings. It's general water based lube so I don't know what to do, any suggestions?

KY really isn't the best, it's pretty poor actually, dries up very quickly!

Pjur back door glide is the best I've used, and I've tried a lot! Expensive but definitely worth it.

Lol... I will have to try that one then! Always loved KY over the durex stuff as its not sticky..

KY Jelly is good its used by surgeons to insert cameras into peoples noses and things, so its obviously ph neutral.

i think its water based too.

oh yeah use condoms. that really goes without saying in this day and age but its surprising that some people dont bother!

I was going to recommend Durex Play until you said this. Have to say I love it. Non greasy, absorbes without staining, tastes ok and is ideal for anal and fisting. Tried KY, liquid silk but none are a patch on this.

Have you tried different varieties of it? It might just be one you have trouble with. I use the purple bottle.

We'd really suggest trying a silicon based lube. Not quite so hygienic as a water based lube but stays slippery for longer. Make sure you wash it off properly afterwards!

there is a company on ebay called cond*m hippo they sell a selection of sachets of different lubes, very cheap and fast service.

why not give some a try?

we prefer ID glide for anal.

Used Durex flavoured lubes before. They are pretty good, but the secret to a good anal fuck????? Time, patience and gentleness....any lube will do if you use these three first

we find a quality lube makes the world of difference thought those 3 qualities are essential.

sod KY it always dries out - it's horrendous for extended time play sessions. We found Durex play slightly better, but the tub has a habit of squeaking if it's not completely closed when you leave it on the bed to recover after squeezing which resulted in us both pissing ourselves laughing...

I've used silicone lube (Milennium), but it can be a bit 'thin' for that, so something slightly more greasy would probably be better. A lot use glide though, and it's good.

Went for Pjur back door glide and it worked a treat, she said it was uncomfortable for the first 30 seconds but then she really got into it, oushing back wanting more!

Er, think you might be confusing it with the good old 'standby' Vaseline. Now that definitely isn't condom-safe as it's petroleum based, and basically eats away at a condom... not a good idea...

KY or any water-based lube should be okay with standard rubber or non-latex condoms.

Liquid silk works best for me. Stays slick where as I found KY didn't. Liquid silk doesnt taste that great if you happen to get any near your mouth
