I d say if I were a bit on the prudish side and felt I was being "manipulated" (sorry, dont mean to offend, just cannot think of a better word) into doing something I don't want to it would probably make me recoil quite abruptly.

I wonder, if there is a trusting relationship whether it might be better to float the idea gently when you are cuddling up in bed and you can make it sound like a kind of fantasy of yours... which would not necessarily have to become reality?

Maybe a form of very 'soft swing' would be better to chat to her about. Where you only interact with your own partner but in the company of another couple. Sort of like watching live porn.

If she isnt even open to trying that then i think you will need to just accept her boundaries.

Be careful that you dont upset her, she could feel like you are saying that your sex life with her isnt enough.

Does she know you swung with your previous wife? If so what is her _iew of that?

I think the big stumbling block is that you describe her as "prudish", to me the way you describe her is quite demeaning and suggets a significant difference in outlooks. I doubt swinging ever solved a struggling relationship.

Agree with the above. I'll say what I always say on these threads it's your wife you should be talking to, not us. I know you want ideas on how to approach your wife but the only description you give of her is prudish, no mention of the strength of your relationship or your regard for her how on earth can we make suggestions with no information to go on?

I always think, its because the bloke goes to clubs by him self can get any action and thinks if his wife was there he could shagging every women the couples room. orgy room.

You see guys walking around clubs just trying to get some action with out any effort, they wounder in out rooms all night long.

As for the question. If she not into it leave it.

Unfortunately she might find the whole thing very daunting. The only thing you can do is bring is up and see what she says.

What do you mean by prudish? Do you have an active sex life together? If so you might have to accept that she is happy with this. Is she aware of your profile on here? Maybe if she doesn't enjoy/want sex at all she will agree to you playing alone? Does happen.

I was in a relationship with a girl and we talked about swinging. It wasn't for her and I didn't force the issue. We mutually ended the relationship some months after discussing it for other matters but I'd certainly encourage being open and honest about things. You owe her that much
