Hi just curious as to what people think when they come across my profile happy to hear negative or positive feedback. I know not having pics on my profile is a downside but can provide a recent one if requested or even better will go on cam to prove I'm genuine.

I have not had an issue recently not having a photo. I used to but found got abused. Some of course prefer but for me it’s the connection and respect with others you have. I don’t expect anything if meet and understand if don’t want to take further. I have had some fun but turned down by a lot more as no photo

If I came across you, not in a forum......

I wouldn't open the profile due to the lack on profile pic, then I'd be confused as the username and your actual age. It would be a bit red flaggy. I'd simply move on

If I did open it, honestly I get 'woe is me, but not woe is me' vibes. Ditch the I am in a wheelchair, but..... no need for the but. You're in a chair, on to the next point.

Love that you love parkrun, if I were closer I'd run with you the do coffee and cake.

Some very decent advice here, and it's obvious OP, that you've started to take it on board because some points raised are no longer in your profile. However, proof read your little now though. Your editing has left a few errors.

With regards to the 'woe is me' vibe. Our take on that us, it's important to highlight you're in a wheelchair. However, it shouldn't define you. An example of how to own it. A 21 year old girl lost her arm in a car accident. She created Tinder profile ever she rated herself on certain aspects. Looks, figure, attitude, etc. Within that she wrote 'Arms 1 out of 2'.

Her humour around the situation meant she had lots of attention.

Also. Why have public pics of you, but no profile picture?
