Not sure if we’re being over anxious as had a few let downs recently but supposedly meeting a guy on Friday, arranged over last few weeks. Sent a message Tuesday, seen he’s been on several times since we sent the message but not been read. Starting to get the feeling it’s another let down again.

How long would you give them before saying sod it??

I'd have already said sod it, been online but not replied for two days when you have a meet planned.

I'd be surprised if he turned up.

Thanks to both of you. That’s our thinking but second guessing ourselves at the minute as it’s becoming more regular on here than actual meets

Trust your gut.

Do you chat about sex with them or send sex pics before you've met? If so they likely got their wank fodder and will not meet.

No sex chat or pics and the wank seeking people won't engage or arrange a meet in the first place.

Perhaps arrange to meet for a social coffee first. That puts wank types off.

Good luck.

We would personally message saying that we'd seen he'd been online and ignored the previous message so we've arranged to do something else on Friday as our spare time is precious to us..

Surely it depends what your last message was? We sometimes read messages, then mark them as unread to indicate that we intend to reply when we know the answer.

Do you already have a venue and time?

If not, have you asked him to choose a venue? Does the time need confirming? Is he coming straight after work, what does he work as, and will he be tied up for half hour?

If your last message was a question which required an answer he may not know yet, then send another to ask for an update - guys are crap at giving updates without being asked.I know, I'm one of those guys!

Interesting topic OP and good advice. I have a similar scenario playing out on my couples profile and was wondering what do about it.. maybe just move on and make other arrangements.

It depends what the Tuesday message said. If is is clarification of previously agreed meet arrangements he might think a reply isn't necessary.

With thousands of guys to choose from who are keen and responsive why put up wit any red flags or doubts?

Yes it’s a red flag. Maybe just double check your last message in case he thinks it’s not asking for a reply.

We had one guy we met before who for second meet ‘forgot’ he had to take his kids on holiday. On next arranged meet the arranged date just came and went after he said he would get back.

We assume with single guys that a fair number have wives and so things can change or they are trying to wait and see if the wife is still going to that girls night out so they can sneak off to a meet.

I would send him another message today, just confirming you’re both fine to meet tomorrow, and hoping all is good for him too? You’ve nothing to lose by doing this, and in the meantime can look around for a Plan b

If planning to meet, I'd expect to be in regular contact prior to it. In this case I'd just block and move on.

It doesn't sound like they'll be turning up to be honest. Hopefully I'm wrong, or just arrange it with someone else.

More red flags than a May Day parade in Beijing!

As a single guy, I’m acutely aware of how difficult it is to get and arrange a meeting. I’d be less concerned had they not been on since you sent the message, but as they have then I’d suggest the message has been read and marked unread. The inbox of a single guy isn’t a difficult thing to manage.

Did you ask him to confirm the meet was on when you mailed Tuesday ?.

I'd send one more and ask him to let you know if he's gonna meet you,if he doesn't reply you have an answer & you can just block him.

This is so frustrating, it's happened to be many a time.

Wish there was a rating system on here rather than just verified.

Showing people turning up etc.

5 starts for people who meet up , when you miss a meet your star is taken away.

Unfortunately, a lot of the guys on here (as well as the couples & single ladies) are fake. They love the chase but have no intention of going through with the meet.

Were they fully verified or pretty new to the site? Anybody can upload fake pics of big cocks etc, lots do.

I like to have an actual phone chat with the lady or couple before I meet them. Helps break the ice and we can confirm we're all who we say we are, builds up trust.

The fact he's ghosting you should tell you your answer, he's not turning up. Block and move on. Good luck
