If I had the chance to engage in some casual sex I would, but as a man on here it's extremely limited

Anxiety when doing anything outside of what we would normally consider our comfort zone is normal.

What you need to consider is if you want to carry on swinging..... It could just be ' done, bought the T-shirt...now I've moved on'

Another factor could be jealousy creeping in and you've reached the point where you don't like the idea of seeing your partner with other people. This is common and I've experienced it. Remember swinging is just fun. What you have with your partner outside of the swinging scene is different, intimate and loving.

If you want to try a trick to overcome your anxiety, next time you are playing, try to use a different persona and give yourself a play name. It will help separate the swinging you from the every-day you...

I think as women we are more anxious about things I know I struggle with it alot I usually love the meets once there but the build up to it can bring on major anxiety and I always worry wether I'll be good enough or not

When you say doubts, is that about body consciousness or more an ethical moral issue?

Certainly you look amazing and from your profile and reviews seems to be positive.

Are you just not enjoying the lifestyle or hasn't it been what you were expecting?

Maybe with other things going on in your life it's been all mixed together. A step back, recharge and then see how you feel.

I'm a firm believer that if something that isn't mandatory or vital to your well being is causing anxiety or unhappiness you need to stop doing it, even if it's just temporarily.

I think for useful advice, it could help to be a little more precise. Surely you could be a anxious in all sorts of ways. I get that it's hard to pin down angst, but a few thoughts would help. If that's what you want.

If it feels wrong or your heart is not in it then stop. Don’t try to force yourself to enjoy something if you just aren’t feeling it, and certainly don’t let anyone else make you feel you should.

If/when the time is right it will happen and you will be happy with it and enjoy it. My device now is to take a break and reassess sometime in the future. There is more to life than swinging

If your issue is not feeling like you're as exciting/sexy/skilled as others on here then it's worth remembering that we only see a fragment of people's lives on here. Photos, statuses and veris give the illusion that others have perfect bodies and amazingly exciting energetic sex lives but there's other things going on behind the scenes. Comparison is the thief of joy as they say. This site can really wreck your self esteem if you're not feeling great, but swinging isn't going anywhere so you won't miss anything by taking a break to get your head together.

I have anxieties sometimes around the fab world I just put fab on hold and don't even look, I think it's only natural when things are going on in real life too.

I think it's easy to see people as confident online even if they aren't in reality.

Anxiety is definitely what T always feels combined with excitement.She just treas meetings as social & also going to clubs a night out to enjoy.If things turn sexy it's a bonus.As a couple you need to be talking a lot about how you are both feeling.If you aren't enjoying things at all maybe have a break.

I completely agree! I sometimes end up cancelling because I don’t feel good enough, I get scared of expectations and worry that I will disappoint

Great response, I think swinging can really hit your self esteem especially as a single lady. I think sometimes we have to take a break to build ourselves up, to miss it so we can enjoy it again

Oh I feel this!

I've had a rough few months and didn't really do any clubs, and stopped meets. Im trying to get back into it now. I've found surrounding myself with friends at clubs has helped massively and I've started playing but with only a few people who I really trust.

Just talking to people at clubs and socials, I lost all confidence, but again, having friends around who I know I can go find if I need them has helped me talk to more people.

I can feel that it won't be long and I'll hopefully be back to where I was. I hope you find something that helps with the anxiety x
