Hello. Your profile says you're not so new to all this

Bulk out your profile a bit put a little more information about your self in. You say to ask if you want to know something but why should anyone if you don't give them anything to pique their interest?

Get involved in the forums, go into the chat rooms and you'll soon get in the swing

Hello and welcome to Fab! Just some general points that I found helped me...

all ways be polite and respectful,

read the profile and collate a message referring to some points in it,

inject some of your personality and use humour

be complimentary

never ever expect a reply

most of all

be patient

Hope this helps!?!

Hi. Ill try to be a little more helpful than the pp seeing as you obviously haven't been on the forums before.

Welcome to fab, life as a single male especially on here can be tough. Mainly because there's probably 30 of you to every couple or single female so you need to be extra special to stand out!!

Firstly your profile, it's how you sell yourself so read through it and ask yourself would you catch the eye of the people you are messaging??

Secondly your pics, a good variation with a face pic in private to attach to messages if necessary

Third.. The message. One sentence tends not to go down well, neither does crude stuff. I'd say introduce yourself, say why you think you'd be compatible (because you've read their profile and think you will be right?? )

Next.. Don't be offended if you don't get a reply, most just delete as some people don't know how to take no for an answer. Be patient and it will happen.

Hope this helps xx.

Punctuation and grammar - you might think that it doesn't matter but others do.

The profile says little of any interest or substance.

Saying that you are nearly 25 just makes you seem younger than you are. As does the totally pointless lols. As for "age, looks, size doesnt bother me at all" - that total lack of preferences just makes it sound like you'll shag anything.

Ditto as above, and 'doesn't always have to be about sex' doesn't really give off the right vibes about what you're here for....

Better than it was. But why not pad it out with a bit more about you? You still don't really stand out.

Plus, why not just chase what you are looking for? If you prefer older women, don't back peddle on it in an attempt to cover all bases. Younger women will potentially be put off because you clearly prefer older women, older women potentially will be put off because you aren;t that fussed. Stating specific preferences will eliminate loads of potential meets but almost certainly make you more appealing to those you do want to meet

Changed it again. Might not be perfect but I don't think it's to bad. I've seen worse hopefully I get a couple of meets now

"Blooming heck....never seen a thread like this one before.!!!!!"

The guy is new, and probably not used forums, maybe he hasn't seen the similar threads. A friendlier approach is probably what he is looking for rather than sarcastic comment.

OP keep sending messages, make sure you read profiles first to ensure you match what the person is looking for. Make your message stand out, dont do a one liner "hi, how are you", most people, including myself don't like those.

Participate in the forums too.

Most of all, welcome and have fun with the site.
