Best way to gain confidence is by losing weight and getting healthy. I’m by no means fat but I’m not skinny either so I’ve recently decided to slim down and I feel more confident already and I’m only half a stone down so far.

I don’t see the correlation between weight gain and chatting up.

I know I do, on days I feel really self-conscious no way have I any confidence. I've started going to the gym and that in itself makes me feel good and has boosted my confidence.

You have a choice to try doing something about it.

Start by having a long hard look at yourself and decide what you want.

Then how your going to do it.

Eat healthy food ,more exercise, join a walkers group the list is endless find what works for you.

Your lucky you have options i lost my confidence years ago following an accident and left with very nasty scars.

Nothing i could do about it,They have faded over time and i eventually accepted they are part of me and if other people are put off by them tough its their problem not mine .

One of the best things I did for my confidence was to be naked more. I use to hate my body and still have times but the more you get use to it, the better you feel in my opinion. Normalise seeing yourself and others.

Also, the way I see if, if I approach someone and they turn me down, I am no different to before they turned me down. Your life won't have changed in any way. And you never know, they may start chatting and it becomes something amazing.

Finally, I think confidence is just faking it ultimately. The more you fake it, the better you seem. Noone needs to know you're dying inside. It's all an act.

Totally get it. I feel disgusting but my partner can't get enough of me especially my boobs. Have no confidence in myself let alone when I am trying to be sexy. You will get there

Dora had real confidence issues but by regularly visiting and being naked at naturist spas and clubs she’s developed great body confidence.

Get naked with others and you’ll see that no one is perfect.

"I don’t see the correlation between weight gain and chatting up. "

Chatting someone up requires confidence.

Confidence in general requires confidence in oneself.

Self confidence requires limiting insecurities.

To limit one's insecurities one must be mostly happy with who they are.

Being overweight is likely to cause unhappiness with personal appearance.

Hope this helps explain one path to correlation.

"Ever since iv gained weight my confidence is low. Therefor iv lost the art of chatting up."

Confidence is often built on experience. Like driving a car. The more you do it, the more confident you become as a driver. However, a nasty crash can blow your confidence, and you stay away from driving for a while. Maybe it's time to get back in the driver's seat?

You might not be perfect the first time you chat someone up, but it'll build your confidence for next time. Good luck

I think confidence has a lot to do with the lifestyle full stop. I’ve found lots of aspects very difficult because I have low self esteem but equally, through doing this I’m starting to accept and even like the things about myself that I didn’t before. If you aren’t happy with something and you have the power to change it, then change it. Other wise own it. Be you. It’ll make it much more satisfying when people are attracted to you.

I've had a look through your profile and you're really much more attractive than you think you are. You've got a great smile and work with that. Don't let your weight get into your head. You are gorgeous. Keep smiling
