Ok I have finally sorted my profile (I think). But I struggle with my first message any advice .

Showing that you've read the profile is a biggie for us - back when we were looking (and quite clear about what we were after) a lot of people clearly just copied and pasted x

Read their profile and personalise the reply with their requirements. See what common ground there is and point that out. Show that you’ve looked at their photos and comment (sensibly) about maybe one or two that had caught your eye. Don’t be pushy and above all be honest.

This is important for us too. Of the guys who we've met as a result of them contacting us via this site, they've all sent a first message which shows they've read our profile.

We don't mind receiving copy and pasted messages as a n initial opener, as long as they've added a bit more to their message which actually does show they've read our profile. We do expect the follow up messages to be original though.
