Hi guys me and my partner are new to the swinging world.

There can be a lot of confusing emotions involved when couples start Swinging. The key is communication with your partner.

My initial thoughts are is this swinging if it's just your partner meeting the same fella? Is Swinging something that you both discussed before it started?

I don't want answers, but talk to your partner about what you both want and how you feel before and after.

Tread carefully, it can lead to a lot of fun, adding to your relationship, but it's not for everyone. Take things one step at a time with lots of cuddles and reassurance along the way..

Thanks yeah we both wanted to give it a go was a fantasy a long time n slowly took the next step suppose other time it gets easier and easier lol. We will definitely talk more bout it like you said

We've met guys before and starting to look at couples, we find that lots of attention on each other and cuddles as a sort of after care and being reassuring towards each other

Basically it’s like all life experiences. If you go to a gig you’ll have a few days of excitement remembering the gig then life just gets back to normal and you might feel a bit down.

Ahh the downs after the ups... Never really affected us but understandable none the less. We love a good meet but so happy and content in each others company there's never really a low afterwards but we do miss what was. Hopefully you discussed boundaries, her safety as she's not with you !, then there's your love for each other. Discuss the risk of getting feelings for others and how you'll handle that. Yes you can come to love naughty friends but it must never eclipse or risk your love for each other !...

As well so the emotional come down, it's also possible that you may be getting a low, because of breaking the norms that society imposes on us. We're indoctrinated to assume that monogamy is right and we may form dreams of true love, with the perfect partner. The breaking of these can instil a sense of loss, even when we've consciously chosen our new path.

As others say, lots of communication is vital. And proceeding at the right pace for you both, with good support. You may find that some options work better for you.
