We don't mind a first message just saying "hi" it must be really difficult for single men to keep on sending interesting messages and getting nothing back. If someone says hi and we like the look and sound of him we will say hi back and take it from there. If you want to pad it out a bit just say "hi I like your profile, if you like the look of mine let me know and perhaps we can chat" maybe compliment a picture just to let people know you aren't cutting and pasting. Good luck

the message needs to relate to the profile that you are messaging. You need to give the recipient a reason to want to answer.

And you might want to consider that many people open profiles before reading messages so look at improving your profile too.

Oh yes be nice

Afraid to say the best messages for me a bit wordy, considered, personalised.

I will reply to most messages that have had some time over them even if I say no thanks.

Older guys seem to have a bit more patience to read the profile and then write something that shows they understand me and like the cut of my jib. They cover a few topics and keep it polite like you would the first conversation in public. My profile is not generic and the guys that get to meet me in real life are the ones that reflect that in their messages.

The nooice tits mrs messages are more like a sleezy d*unk guy in the street at 2 am, I've never gone home with that guy, not yet
