I know that alot of guys don't read the forums. They don't even seem to read the profiles they want to meet.

But in all seriousness, it gets quite frustrating when you're bombarded by guys, not one of whom appears to have read your profile-just looked at your pictures!

Guys, if you want a response, read before messaging!

why not set a couples profile up, as it says we, and your on a single profile, maybe thats were the confusion comes in

Open a Word document. Type in 'Read my/our profile'. Save. Then for every person who messages and who has, evidently, not read the profile, simply copy and paste. Do this repeatedly until they get the message.

I dont do a cnp message but have been known to send a message saying 'thanks for reading my profile, no reply needed'

I've spent ages today, going through the winks and FR's, checking my profile and tweeking, also checking my filters and age range etc

only because Ive stated Im not meeting anyone new at the top of my profile so finally had chance to catch up

dont get me wrong i do report them but save there messages so i can see if they get removed by admin as usual nothing happens and they seam to have had nothing done to them

just a bit wrong i think as some of the messages have been really nasty yet the people are still on here

Thay are all dont do this/dont do that because it saves alot of time explaining it over messages and gives u a general idea of the person in question. Sounds like you have the mental capacity of a 3yr old if it takes you hours to read a few sentences, If you cant be arsed to read a profile, dont send a message simple as that.

As with any forum they probably don't kick someone for a bad message, it'll be a filter system pick up X amount of complaints and a mod will come and check in Xx

Of course this will be because you are on a swingers site and you have to put out to any man, woman, sheep, goat or vegetable that manages to string together "fancy a fuck".. if you don't you are of course a timewaster

Fickle because we won't drop our knickers for anyone!

If guys read a profile and only sent a message if they actually fitted what someone was looking for, they might stand more of a chance on the site.

And for the guy that says it takes hours to read a profile, what an exaggeration, longest profile I have ever come across has taken 2 minutes to read, the attitude can't be bothered to read a profile, tells me can't be bothered to put a little effort in which in turn tells me bad meet potential.

As I said before, they probably don't read all of the profiles,but just send random messages hoping they get a reply.

I always have a read through ,some of which I've read haven't made sense as to what they want when you look at the things that they have ticked that there interested in lol

It's no wonder some get confused lol

Read a profile last night I liked she even put a code in it to make sure you read it all, thought that was clever ,but it took me a while to read it all lol

I quite enjoy reading them though,its interesting to see what people like.

Often seen new things I fancied doing myself lol :0)

whats equally frustrating is being told to do this and do that!

Lets be honest, stupid "fancy a fuck" messages asside, a simple message a few sentences long is more than often enough providing the recipient "Likes the look" of who is sending it.

And equally a multitude of well thought out paragraphs will get you where if the recipient does "Not like the look of you"

This I disagree with, for every couple that have messaged and not read my profile, I get around 20 guys do same. Obviously I expect higher volume of guys as more guys on site than couples and girls.

Lately finding an increase in guys (new members) that have joined thinking its instashag site, and get surly and abusive when point out its not

And some read profiles and STILL send a message, so one cannot win other than block everyone you are looking for, then wandering around at your leisure, down side is that if you have blocked them, you cannot read their profile, and you could also find yourself blocked

Yes we get fed up with people who waist our time by not reading profiles,so we waist all there typing efforts by just pressing delete button .same for those who send friend request,s,, we decided last year to stick to guys we have already met for small meets ,and meet new guys at clubs only,we have not had any probs with fems or couples

This inability to read a profile is prevalent across all walks on FAB, I think something about FAB being a "sex" site often causes a lack of general decency.

There is nothing worse than anyone messaging you asking what your into and what you're after when its quite clearly stated and written on the profile. I take the time to read anyone's profile I like the look of and all of those who message us before responding and I fail to see why its so hard to do ?

I actually DO read every profile so I can send a tailored personal message. I still get mostly ignored. On one occasion i got a reply that said 'sorry i don't reply to messages you send to everyone else' when it in fact responded to most of her profile! It was obvious she didn't even read my message. I do feel single guys get the poor end of the stick.

sorry have to laugh here .firstly i have lost count of the guys who proudly proclaim " i have read your profile " when then dont fit one of my preferences . then when this is pointed out suddenly they must of just missed that bit lol !!! secondly meny people dont replie if not interested as dont wish to enter into the whole "well why not " can of worms and opening up a conversation that futile and wasting both parties time. or maybe the just want the diva tantrums for ppl (again across the bord not just guys)when they are told no .easier to just not respond then mail back politely and then get huge load of juvenile abuse back . no one owes yu anything on the site , silence is huge replie in my book. the person just not interested so move on .

Lots of single guys wont drop for anyone, over a year on and no veris, alot of fakes etc. We have easily messaged over 200 fems and had one ffm meet and no solo meets with any (either fm or ff) and lots are just up themselfs profiles

We see it from both ends as amy meets solo and we get bombarded but i can see guys point of view as well the response rate is really low if a guy had to read then compose and individual message for every fem as supposed to a reasonable cnp message then you could literally sit 6-8 hours a day messaging tons of unique women / couples and not get any response or a rude one

Is it any wonder single malea can get tetchy? They as a whole get treated like 3rd class citizens here and this opinion that they should bust their balls while fems or us couples can do what we want is grossly unfair. They are here for a good time just like the rest of us

Having swung as a single guy previously, I totally appreciate where some guys are coming from.

However, it takes no more than a minute or two to read & digest what a couple is looking for if the guys bother to read, most do not. They look at some saucy photos, possibly see a meet/event is planned & then alot will send some crass one line message. They do not read the actual text that we didn't compose because we're miserable. We composed it because we're looking for like minded individuals.

Men need to appreciate that as a single guy, competition on here is very, very stiff so they need to do stand out from the crowd, one way or another.

Personally I believe the best way to do that is to compose a few lines, taking into account the profiles aspect, after reading it first....

We've only just started using the forum the past couple of days & have noticed that interest in our profile has soared. We're not naturally rude people, far from it, but we're exasperated by the number of morons(there is no more appropriate adjective to describe them) who fail to read our profile first. We must have had 50-60 messages yesterday,5-6 got a reply.

Or they do read then choose to ignore the meat of the message.

Guys will spend 1-15 minutes looking at & 'fabbing'photos but spend 30 scanning text & as long composing a message which then goes awry.

For a single woman or couple this is a target rich environment. Personally it is quite evident if someone reads our profile,if they do we will reply even if just to point out they missed something else!

Sadly for guys, there are alot of people who are bombarded & harrassed & so become somewhat intolerant(like we have). But then everyone has a filter, we like to meet single guys so our profile & geography is our filter. It is all in the text, not the photos. Appreciating Lous' womanly charms will not get you a response, reading our text & understanding, will!

For the most part message content/length is irrelevant. If people like the look of someone they will meet them. They'll pick the offer that looks the best and the rest will be cast aside.

Exactly, if they havent read it they are playing the numbers game rather than picking you because they think you are a good match. Better they send a rubbish message now than read your profile and find a way to pretend to be the right person(s) for you which will later unravel in an awkward fashion.

Be clear what you want and clear that those who don't heed it are onto plumbs. Then don't feel bad about "delete, also block sender"
