Blood thinners

I'm currently on blood thinning/anticoagulant meds for a blood clot that's now gone.

I use ED treatments for sex. There's nothing in the paperwork that says they shouldn't be taken together nor is there anything on the NHS website.

Anyone have any personal experience of this. DM me if you prefer

I'm happy to advise, but it really depends on what you take for erectile dysfunction and where/how serious/how long ago your blood clot was. Even so, you should speak to your GP about it if you are concerned!

I have a heart condition for which I am taking the following medication: Apixaban.Bisoprolo. and Ramipril.

My Consultant, GP, and Pharmasist have all advised me to avoid Viagra (Sildenafil). Possible outcome could be Cardiac Arrest.

Strongly suggest you talk to your GP.

You can check the BNF for medication guidelines and contraindications, but your safest bet, is to discuss with your GP or Pharmacist.

It is called Eroxon.

I am on Riveroxoban after a double pulmonary embolism 8 years ago and have used the generic Viagra and Cialis with no issues but as others say, go talk to your GP before taking anything.
