I've done it before, no idea why I did either, even fab clearly discourages you before you click that button! But you lose all the veris, wind up with regret, then still come back and make a new profile

As a matter of interest is it easier to make this mistake on a smartphone than on a computer?

I've never come anywhere near making it with a keyboard and mouse combination. You did say 'click'. What device are you using?

GONE/TIMEOUT (No DMs please)

I wish there was a deactivate button...rather than having to delete.

If you "hide" your profile, it just means your photos and description go.. people who have you on a friend's list or hotlist can still see when you've been online, still message you and wink.

Sometimes I could do with deactivating for 30 days.

I often delete mine when it gets too much. Good to have a break but I agree with the above, needs to be a deactivate option.

Just an on/off switch so you can activate all or switch off all or select so bit more control would be nice x

It's not like I did it without wanting to at the time, I thought I was done. It's the regret afterwards I'm speaking about, something I did a while ago, it's just to warn people not to do it and just go incognito instead for the foreseeable, if they're thinking of deleting. Then if you decide to come back its not such a problem.

Calderdale innit

I just hide mine when i want a break.

Somw seem to delete and rejoin every week in my updates.Just seems a bit pointless.

I’d have to be really, REALLY wound up the day I delete my account. So much time and effort spent on it. I prefer to hide the profile if I want to fly under the radar….

A few of us have made that mistake, but, to be fair, we all likely felt it was the right thing to do at the time

Yeah we did it on our old profile, I think you get so long to reactivate but we'd gone past that.
