My wife is pregnant and we would still like to meet socially with others and attend club nights and have our own fun.

We was just wondering what the general consensus on this is and what people think.

As we wouldn't want to turn up to a club and it be uncomfortable due to others not approving ect.

Anyone with any experience on this some feedback would be great x

No experience but some people are very judgemental towards pregnant women. That doesn't mean everyone and most will be welcoming however if a one off remark is likely to cause upset I'd avoid.

Your wife would have no problem with the men as they would appreciate the situation. I attended throughout my last 3 pregnancies.. I never had any negative encounters but did tone down how I played drastically..

Had a regular partner throughout, would play public and had the odd bukakke session but no actual group play.

Hey, thanks for the messages so far it is helpful. Just a little daunting as its not something we've encountered while on Fab and didn't know about how to go about doing what we wanted to do.

I Guess it's like most of you've said most will be supportive but a few might be judgemental like you'd find with anything.

We'll do what we want to and just adjust our play to suit our circumstances.

Have fun but I caution you on catching very common things that can harm the baby eg CMV otherwise known as “kissing flu” is highly prevalent. Good luck x

Personally I wouldn’t in large clubs or even soft play in a club if it was my child , but that’s just about large crowds and health , I get super protective. But you should do what feel is right for you

I think a lot of guys would love it. I know when I were pregnant, guys used too flirt with me a lot more. I think you’ll mainly find people who are judgemental or not interested in it would just completely avoid rather than being abusive or nasty to you or making comments.

There’s lots of things in clubs i don’t like/ agree with (pregnant women not being one just in general!)but just get on with my own thing.

We were on fab while I was pregnant, I didn't meet but was happy to for socials only.

I did find a huge number of men trying to meet just because of the bump, it was more a turn off than anything they weren't interested in my just the fact I had a bump.

Go for it. I went to clubs pregnant, just listen to your body if you start to feel tired and avoid the hot tubs as there's a very small risk of problems due to the bubbles (midwife will advise of this if you ask about hot tubs) congrats

C here,my baby is 13 weeks and we were going to clubs together as a couple until pretty much the day I gave birth, we played together, either in locked rooms or open areas without others joining in, depending on how comfortable i felt, we are regulars at pandora in leeds and I would spend the last few weeks walking up and down the stairs in an attempt to induce the baby, often joking about how the swing would come in handy if it happened ?? but go for it, enjoy it and don't let anyone judge you, just be careful you may get more attention than normal, but if your comfortable with that then perfect! Personally I avoided events as found them to be too busy and didn't want to be knocked or pushed around xx

Have some fun now, baby will keep you plenty busy when it pops out!

Just remember you (and your partner) might feel differently or more protective of your body now that you are carrying around a foetus too.

Depending on the demographics you will find many of the women in the club will have been pregnant at some point already, so they aren't going to judge, but they might have some stories to share!!!

Hi all, thanks for the comments. We understand its a bit of different subject and it's definitely not welcome by everyone. But the general consensus seems to be pretty much do what we want to do and just enjoy ourselves.

If we went to a club we would just stick to fun between us 2 but obviously it's great to socialise with others and watch some things that go on.

Again thanks for the comments weather they've been positive or not. We welcome all sides to the argument (although not an argument haha) xxxxx

To be fair if you want to go to a club you should go. You will always get judgemental people in clubs whatever the state we are in.

The thing that is important to remember is that anyone with judgement are the ones with the problem. Most of the club owners I know would throw anyone out if they gave you any grief and if they didn't you should indicate this in a review of their scandalous behavior in the club reviews and word of mouth.

Personally, I find pregnant ladies bodies to be at one of their most beautiful and attractive times when pregnant and it saddens me that I'll never have the opportunity to enjoy another lady at that wonderful time in her life.

Anyone, giving you anything other than support and love should be completely ashamed of themselves. Xxx
