Profile rewrite

The Bat Cave

Although I'm not sure how many people read profiles, I'm considering rewriting mine as it may appear too 'tongue in cheek' or dare I say, humorous lol (as the kids would say)

So any words of guidance/advice/constructive criticism would be appreciated

I’m Not your audience but your profile reads well, and gets over a lot of info. Efficiently and in a light hearted manner. It aint broke, no need to fix it

I'd take out the bit about blocking people who don't reply (quickly enough). It's fine for you to do it. But no need to write it. It can be overwhelming on here for women. Even with no pictures and a profile as lacking in promise as mine. There are quite lovely men I probably won't get to meet because I cannot concentrate on more than N at once nor meet more than M (which is less than N) per week. No need to add pressure xx

I generally don't block for a couple of days. If a message is read and no reply by then, it's not going to happen - and that's cool. You can't be everyone's cup of tea. But the memory is not what it was (lol), so would have to be accused of pestering people if I send a second message later on

It can take me weeks... And I will still want to meet. I don't think you have any idea what it's like for women (with jobs, lives, etc) on here xx

Only thing we would add is something about the location of meet. We only meet in clubs so like to read that the person attends clubs, others only meet in hotels, others private party's. It's harsh but with so many profiles available we tend to scan and look for the key words that quickly identify compatible profiles.

I do have the line

"A drink, a chat and see where it leads (if anywhere)"

So maybe need to expand this to say mine or theirs, as don't do clubs/hotels, etc.

Being funny is good. But it can also come over as evasive, so maybe add sone more about yourself so the ladies know more about what you’re into/ looking for etc.

There's too many one liners in there, that it distracts from the actual facts about you. I would prefer a bit more information about you and spread out any humourus lines as the block at the start I found off putting.

I regularly read them mark as unread so I can come back to it.

I don't live on the site nor do plenty of women so timing the speed of a reply is a bit much.

You want a 3sum but don't want married, playing away??!

Are fab couples allowed?!

It's light hearted and funny but missing firm details (as a previous person replied) .

I'm not really sure what you want from fab.

Thanks, will add some more details in regard what I'm looking for

The 'married' & 'playing away' are when the partner is unaware (The word 'discreet' pops up a lot with these, so I now avoid!)

Having looked again, you asked for advise about rewriting your profile and don't appear to have made any adjustments.

It's all centred about what you want. Maybe you could add some comments about why people should meet you. What do you offer that's different from others?

Swinging is about everyone having a good time and profiles that just talk about what the person is looking for, can appear that their wants and needs are more important. Just a thought!
