Just want to vent really, member is blocked

But I don’t get it….. I just got a first message off a member and he sent me an abusive message about my appearance

This can be such a fun place to meet people and talk to them and it’s a great community

This has just put me in a bad mood for the weekend when I have such great plans

What happens after we block and report? Would be nice to know ?

He probably thinks he is more attractive than you and it's pissing him off that he still isn't getting any... Bless him... Remember, we only get shitty about other people's appearance because we are insecure about our own

Yes I was thinking that he wasn’t getting replies from who he wants and doesn’t like me because he’s jealous of my joy and fun on this site

It’s actually a great community the swinging scene xx

No matter how confident a person is, receiving an unpleasant message is always a bit of a shock and even though you know it’s from a stranger who you will never meet it still stings.

Head held high lovely, think of all the fabulous people you actually know and whose opinions matter to you.

Life on Fab can take you from one extreme to another. Imagine being “them” every day now imagine being you

after the block and report, the lovely mods then go to town.

last time we had a nasty message, we got a friend to check his username out of interest. name not found, so obviously banned from the site.

the mods are quite proactive, and either a temporary cooling off period, or a permanent ban seems quite likely.

dont let it get to you. its just a dickhead. plenty of them about, and they dont get laid.

Here is an explanation from Admin from another thread on how they deal with reports.

******Just a quick note. If people report others and we can verify that they have broken site rules, we always take action (either a first and final warning, partially suspended account, fully suspended, mixture of the above).

Every single report sent via the REPORT link is reviewed. Clearly it's not in our interests to have people on here who are bad for the site. Equally we need to verify what has been reported and be fair to those who have been reported.

PS. we never provide feedback on what has happened. It's just not practical given that we get 100s of reports a day.

Here is what the page says after a report has been submitted:

Your feedback has been saved.

A website admin will shortly review your feedback and take the necessary action. After reviewing the evidence available to us, we may disable an account, remove a user, disable certain aspects of that user's account or issue a warning.

By leaving feedback you help improve the site for everyone who uses it. Thank you.******
