Webcam help

Can't get my webcam on my laptop to work.

Error message: it looks like your camera is either not connected or is blocked for this site.

I've clicked on the padlock in search bar and changed it to allow mic and camera but to no avail.

Any suggestions? Please bear in mind I'm not particularly tech savvy so you'll need to explain it ! Thanks

Hiya op

Check the browser settings for audio and video that you are giving consent then once on the site accept permission in the cam room

Go to Settings, Device Manager, and check your cam is actually on. Maybe just update the driver while you’re there, then check permissions. Worth also clearing your browser cache.

Have had same issue, as above was told to clear cache history and check browser settings. Worked without issues ever since

managed to get it to work on my phone but not my laptop

ive checked my settings and the privacy settings look ok to me so still none the wise

ive cleared the cache and checked the padlock in the search bar and its showing that camera and mic are "allowed" so still lost as to what it could be
