Was just wondering what ratio of views to messages people get?, Example I have had 23 profile views, 0 messages in last 24 hours.

Is that good, poor, average, just wondered....

No idea, lol, lots of messages I get are from people I chat regularly too and people could have their 'who looked at me' thingy switched off so it's impossible to get accurate reading x

How do you work out number of views in the last x number of hours?

Mine shows the last 100 people to view my profile.

In the last 12 hours it looks to be about 80 and I've had 16 messages from new people (that I have not spoken with previously) & 6 from friends.

Mine says last 100 (which I didn't realise before I started counting) but when I counted it was more. Just checked in case I was going mad and there's 131 there now x

It's not good, poor, average or anything other than irrelevant.

There is only one thing that matters if you are on here to genuinely make contact with others and meet.... and that is RESPONSES.

YOU have to be proactive as a single guy as the odds are stacked against you. Don't worry about who's viewed your profile, read or deleted your messages Send intro messages then delete straight away - DON'T get hung up about what happens to a message once you've sent it. All that is important is 1. listen to and accept VAILD advice anyone in the forums offers about how you are advertising yourself on here and 2. what responses you get.

Yes. What is it your REALLY wanting when you send a message? A RESPONSE. You can do NOTHING without a response, can you? If someone just reads your PM, but does not respond, what can you do with that? Nothing.

If you genuinely want to meet people on here (or any similar site) the only thing that will start the ball rolling is if someone responds to your PM, isn't it.

If you sent out 250 intro PM's in a week, what would be more important OR depressing? The 180 that were deleted immediately? The 69 that were read and no more? Or the ONE that replied saying 'Thanks for the message. Like your profile. Happy to talk...' (or words to that effect).

Well..????????????

I know I dont look in my sent box ever, I just delete all every now and again. However men that mail me, then mail me again; stressing that I havent opened or read or responded to their first email have a special place

Exactly. The person receiving the message doesn't know you have deleted it, but YOU know if they have deleted yours....

The difference between the sexes..... Maybe some of the women should pass on their overflow to us fellas and we could reply on their behalf, but answer it as men, bet they still would be interested.

I really do believe alot of men would ignore a womans comments of having hairy legs, facial stubble, hairy ass, as so desperate.
