How would you all view a split condom situation.

Would it just be a matter of stopping removing and putting on a new condom or would it be a total game stopper.

An STI test would be a necessity as one should be anyway .

Never had one split but had one come off. It was a stop and replace, but if the person I was with had wanted to stop then I’d have understood.

It happens on occasion. Mainly due to wrong sizing. Depends how it's handled for me. If you notice and replace, let's keep going.

One time I felt it snap and made the guy stop and he snapped another. So I told him not anymore and he commented that he shouldn't have said anything and kept going. I left quickly after that.

If you're not a d*ck about it, I've found it be okay to replace. If anything, to me, it shows more respect stopping and saying there is a problem.

I was nieve to the site. You learn.

But that sounds as it should go. I couldn't see anyone having a problem with that approach at all.

A few years ago I had a guy tell me it had ‘split’ once he’d finished. I looked at the condom and I’m convinced he did something to it. Never met him again and I got tested. Fortunately everything was ok but I didn’t like the deceit.

In many years of using condoms that was the only time there’s been an issue. I usually carry a variety of sizes so they do fit properly.

I've had the tip snap before without realising, usually after a non-safe lubricant e.g. oil based. It is possible.

I don't think there would be a need to apologise,obviously just making them aware. I mean I wouldn't apologise if my period rocked up on a meet. Shit happens that's out of our control. It's about just acting like an adult and then having a quick conversation about both choosing to continue or not

It's never happened to us before so we've never really thought too much about it.

I suspect our view would be stop and replace and carry on. At least in theory.

In practice, at least with the couples we play with regularly the odds are good that everyone would be so concerned with making sure that noone was offended that the mood would probably be lost and we would end up stopping.

Things like baby lotion, coconut oil, massage oils, I think even vaseline are 'lubes' often used pre sex so I can understand how they might get on a condom. Personally I've never had one split in all my years of not knowing how to put one on right or shagging poorly.
