With these the same person/persons can verify someone over and over again and this increase that person's verification but surely once you verify some that's enough. Verification should only show when made by new people?

It doesn't count on nunber of people and why should only one show. I may meet someone at a club and it be purely social, then meet them again sometime and it be a complete filth fest.. both different experiences. Plus some of my verifications between friends tells a little story between us.

If that’s what you prefer that’s what you should do. Doesn’t mean it should be a rule for everyone though.

We like seeing multiple verifications because it shows that people like repeat meets, which is what we look for.

It will only show as 1 person though. So your veris will go up but not the number of people. I personally like multiple veris. It shows they are worth meeting again

I don't see the issue. Some people have the verifications from just a few but over a period of several years. Seems fine with me

Multiple veris are a good way to see if people meet regularly and less likely to be timewasters. Also people see new veris in their local updates and it helps draw attention the profile.

We agree with this, we read a lot more into verifications than they are real people. If a few people have met them more than once, that reads well to us.

I like to see more than one veri from people. You often read comments like can't wait to see him again or we've already arranged to meet again, and when there isn't a follow up verification, I'm left wondering if it didn't happen.

If you are looking for one offs that's fine, but if you prefer to get to know someone and hope to see people a number of times, repeat veris is a good sign.

Repeat veris are lamppost pissing as far as I’m concerned, gloriously so if all the veris on one profile are from just one other. But hey, we’re all different right?

The system is fine as it is, use it as you see fit
