Ok. So we are completely new to this, so would appreciate advise please.

So if we were going to use a day use hotel how do you go about that?

1) can you meet someone and if you decide you wanted to play, would you be able to just turn up at a hotel and book a couple of hours?

2) do you show up with the other couple/ person or do you go in separately?

All stupid questions sorry.

Dayuse.co.uk is good for daytime/ half day meets rather than an overnight stay sometimes!

Haywards Heath

Check them out first and meet in the bar & then head to room.

Day rates are usually 11/12 to 6pm

Unless it's taken off more than publicised, most hotels don't offer it.

Whilst they can offer rooms on a quicker turn around, it also means extra servicing, so unless you find one localish, they aren't that widely available. Rooms aren't that expensive if costs are shared, if someone backs out you could always post a meet today up, meet them socially and presto you have a room. Just maybe don't presume they'll to help with costs.

I don't think you could turn up at any hotel and ask for two hours. You need to find one which offers a day rate. I know Village Hotels do.

I am usually choosing travel lodge as it’s cheap . Meeting people before going to the hotel . If there is no connection then I am either staying a night or looking for someone new in the apps

Often you can book a day use hotel and cancel quite late in the day, which gives you options.

Usually in the week there are good offers for premier inn and travel lodge. We’ve had rooms as little as £30 and normally we can check in by 2pm.

A lot of day use hotels don’t need paying up front and you can cancel right up until arrival

I'd generally go have a coffee/drink then if all is good all go back to the room together.

Most day rate rooms are available from 9am to 5pm, and if you choose wisely, will also include a day pass in to the spa facilities, which is great for 'chilling' between erm,......

You book most online with usually a £5 non-refundable deposit, then check-in when you're ready. So......if you arrive and have a coffee with your meet, if things don't progress to needing the room, just leave! Otherwise, get checked in and enjoy your day!

Can meet in a swinging club and use that as like a cheap hotel. Done it several times, lots have private lockable rooms, then even a bar area.

You book on the dayuse website , pay in cash on the day ...

Best way is to find someone you want to meet, agree a day and then find a hotel. I've paid in cash at the desk with no ID requirements (YMMV). They didn't appear to bat an eyelid.

I've noticed rates have been hiked significantly in the past year. I used to pay 50-60 quid for a 9-5 room - now it's more like 90.

In some cases it is cheaper to make two normal bookings.

Use the Dayuse app, check your hotels for times, prices and last booking window. I had a Leonardo from 9 till 5. Meet in the lobby for a drink and if they aren't your thing then take it on the chin. Don't feel pressured to use the room just because you paid for it. Do use room service if you are hungry, don't answer the door naked. Do feel free to make a huge mess. Use the shower.

This.

I went to Amigos and spent 9 hours with someone. Had drinks, snacks and spent all day and night alternating between hot tub and fucking. Like a day at the spa.

On point 1. We would go with book a room (if the other party hasn't) even if just planed as social. Personally if it was someone new we'd say just a social but we would actually book a room near by. Then there is no pressure on anyone but we could then say we have a room if things go really well. And if they don't work out you have a room you can both enjoy anyways (for us this is great because we have kids at home). We've not used dayuse rooms yet so can't advise how that works. Although looking at it online it often seems as cheap just to book for the night (and not be limited on time if things go really really well).

On point 2. I don't think there's any need to split up in a large hotel if arriving together. Just walk confidently in together and go up to the room.
