Single guy hosting couples party

Bingley

Do you think that I would get any interest if I attempted to organise and host a couples only party at my place, I have a large, safe, comfortable home with a large cinema room available in the Bingley area? Snacks and drinks supplied by myself, no charge of course as I would be hosting and hopefully enjoying the evening as invited.

In terms of numbers I could easily cater for up 5 carefully vetted couples.

Thoughts appreciated...

I expect it will appeal to some but we’d be concerned about hidden cameras personally so not for us.

Of course, I never thought about that, naive me. I would never do that but gaining people trust might be tough.

We've been to parties organised by single guys but a single guy organising a couple's party sounds a bit creepy.

I think if you had 1 couple at least, who are friends, who join with you to organise it, it would be more likely to get attention.

You'd probably need to think about what they could get that they wouldn't get from meeting at a club, which they can currently do.

Yes I can understand that but that's not me, just struggling to get meets off here and wanting to provide an opportunity for people to see my genuine, likeable character whilst helping them have fun.

This do you know a local couple well who could help you promote the event?

Failing that if you had a solo / single female friend who would help you promote it that may help.

We know a singl le male in the north east who ran successful parties. The ratio would be approx 3 single males Inc him 5-8 couples and welcomed any single females who wanted to attend.

The promoting was done by himself and a couple he was good friends with.

Thank you for your good advice, does any couple/single lady want to help?

Same for me. It’s my biggest concern with attending any kind of house party, no matter the organisers, therefore I wouldn’t be interested.

I understand your point totally, thanks for replying.

A difficult concern to elevate me thinks.

Like someone said above, it does comes across as a bit of a creepy way to try and get a meet.

Never going to work.

parties for couples that i/we attended are run by couples i/we would not attend one run by a single guy ..

however we know of a guy whos been on here forever who never had a meet until he started saying others could use his house and he now has quite a few veri for hosting but not joining in so it will work for some i guess

Yes that could work for me too, I have available the space and would enjoy helping folk get together even if I didn't get to play, happy to watch if allowed though.

I can see why you say this but the last thing I am is creepy, just am open and friendly bloke who is finding meeting couples very difficult it's probadly my age.

It might not work but I am least trying to help couples meet up in a safe comfortable environment without financial reward.

I don't know your swinging history and if you attend clubs but if not it might be a good idea to attend social, clubs etc meeting people that way, of course it would need to be a fair few times so that people can get to know you, gain trust etc. Just an idea.
