need some help

been messaged tonight by a friend who has shared some fun with me he has a large empty house for 3 days in feb and wants to know if I want to plan a party with him. I really do the idea of hosting excites me but I have no experience in this area, even about what sort of do will attract guests any ideas gratefully welcomed and also where does this stand legally? does it need to be by invite? can we have drinks?

thankyou a few people have messaged me and the general concensus seems to be this is something I have to arrange by pm and invite. so thinking I am a little too far in advance at the mo. what's a good timescale for ensuring success, as in not too many dropping out from too far ahead but leaving adequate notice to make arrangements?

I heard my name being mentioned lol. OK, here's a few tips that may help along the way...

4-6 weeks notice is not too much. My next party will be on 9th Feb, and I'm just arranging my invitations as I write.

Be prepared for "party maths". For every ring you want on the doorbell, you'll need to bank on two "acceptances". For every "acceptance" you need to send out two invitations, and that's to people who you know. Inviting total strangers is a far less predictable thing, although as a Woman, you'll get a better response than I will as a bloke.

Some other things to think about in your planning stage...

Make a decision about whether you want a couples only, or a couples and singles party, and get and idea of what your target numbers are. Then look at whether you can fit that many cars in the streets around the house on a typical Saturday night.

If you are going for a couples and singles night, think carefully about those couples who stick religeously to "couples only". Mixing "couples only" couples with single guys is asking for a bad atmosphere unless the couples have a good reason for saying "couples only" and not meaning it. It'll be a matter that you'll need to sort out in advance with each on it's own merits.

Thinks about your budget on catering. etc. Are you looking to charge people to come or are you footing the bill yourself? Who'll be doing the food preparation, and is there enough cutlery / plating for everything?

Some women have VERY wet orgasms. Be prepared to invest in waterproof covers for your duvets and matrasses.

Don't forget to provide an area for smokers, including shelter if it's outside and it's raining.

Do you have friends of your own who you can invite or are you relying on Fab for your guests?

Don't forget the little things like background music, maybe the cheesy porno video on telly etc.
