It needs to be something that works for you both. You will each have individual needs that will have to be fulfilled otherwise it's probably not going to work out.

Best of luck though, I think it can definitely work if you're open and honest with each other about what you both want, what your limits as individuals are, and to have some kind of discussion about any rules or guidelines you have for each other on the logistics and protocol on how it's actually going to work between you, how you are going to look for a bull, and how you're both going to be interacting together with a potential bull.
