Hi all, hoping for a bit of advice, here goes...

So, when I'm with a new woman, I get pretty turned on, and unfortunately really struggle not to cum after about 2 seconds.

It's generally not a problem in a long term relationship as I can usually hold on for as long as needed (although if I'm feeling very horny it has to be quite slow or I'll shoot my load), but when I'm with someone new it's impossible. Viagra works to help achieve and maintain erections, it’s unlikely to help your PE problem but it will help you be ready to go again much quicker.

Not sure how to help you other than suggesting you try and be a 2 round guy? Learn to control emotion and don't excite yourself as much as you do. Feel like it's more mental than the act itself that makes you not last.

I personally have no issues going for a long time. Occasionally so long that it's hard to finish which in itself can be an issue.

Getting hard tablets won't help your pe problem. A reputable online pharmacy will have some delay tablets. Just be careful self administering, your pharmacist will tell you which medications can't be mixed in case you're in any other meds.

I’d avoid medications if you can and try other methods. It seems a psychological problem so I’d try reading about CBT first and see if you can overcome it by changing your thinking.

-For those that have suggested a wank beforehand -I've tried that and it is generally the worst thing to do. Firstly with the 'post-nut clarity' that comes after the wank I generally lose the enthusiasm for meeting. (I have a strong suspicion that this is the reason why so many guys on here make arrangements to meet up and then don't show up or ghost the lady). Less enthusiasm means less fun, and if I do still meet up, then i've either recharged fully and have the same problem (ie over-excited) or (if it's too soon) struggle to cum, which is no fun for anybody. Also this rules out 'round-2' as I generally struggle to cum for a 3rd time unless there is a decent recharge period (or anal play is involved

-For those of you who mentioned it as psychological issue, I'm not disagreeing with you, I'm always fairly sensitive/responsive and never have a problem getting hard, but I agree the issue is at least partly psychological due to the excitement with someone new. Very interesting read.

I'm not sure if the focus on the excitement instead of the pleasure might be causing the issue. Not sure CBT can help with that. My advice would be to explore tantra to be able to focus your mind more on the pleasure and tantra is known for slowing the men down and speeding the women up. It's also supposed to relax everyone.

It's hard to know with a new partner also. Sometimes you and the new partner just click but in my experience there need to be some work especially when it come to foreplay.

Not kidding, it's very helpful if you're quick to cum. Do it regularly enough and stop yourself from cumming, just edge for a while basically and you'll become a lot more desentised and can last longer.
