A pic taken of your bodyparts during sex on a private meet (consented to be taken/ shared between you both as a momento), is then posted on the other person's profile public photos, without them asking you?

Thoughts? TIA xo

Photo rules state that permission must be sought by everyone in the photo. Report the photos and let admin deal with it

Depends if pics are recognisable as me. If not, I'd be flattered personally. However I understand it possibly being frowned upon as it is a bit cheeky

I've been looking at the local updates page a lot and I've seen this from a few local men. There's no way of knowing if these people consented to their photos being shared this way. Makes me uneasy. I wouldn't do it myself.

If it's already been consented when taken, thought it would be obvious if they were private or public since consent was already given to have on profile. Otherwise a person wouldn't agree with any taken

Thanks. They have removed it after I noticed/asked, but their response was 'you are not identifiable / they own the pic as they took it'. Glad to know fabs rules are that permission is still needed. Thank you

Its more graphic than I would be comfortable sharing publicly.

Do you mean being consented between you, is consent for any use?

I hate action shots on men’s profiles and many are without permission and men who haven’t even got Beria have them. I’d ask them to remove immediately or report them

Whenever I ask men who the woman is on their pics they always say it's their ex.

Hmm yeah right an ex gave permission for their pic to be used as sex bait.

I hope you called him out as the cheeky cunt he is. Also let him know what he did was potential against the law if your agreement was only for private use between just you 2.

Sorry you went through this.

I don't really mind so long as I'm not identifiable from the pictures. However if someone puts one up without at least clearing it with me first it's getting reported.

I'd be happy to this as long as I was asked first. Without permission it's definitely not OK.

Guys, gals, be quite specific about the rules for taking pics and vids as "for your own personal use" makes it legitimate to post on their own personal profile while "for your own personal viewing" is a different kettle of fish.

Sad that manners are a fast disappearing thing because I have no prob with posting meet pics on my personal profile BUT would not dream of using one without sending a copy to everyone in the item, identifiable or not, and obtaining everyone's consent for the intended use. It's just a simple extension of the consideration given/expected during the meet.

Just a reminder that even if you are not identifiable but the meet is at your place, the surroundings may identify you.

Thanks all. He has taken it down so thats, that. Just the lack of asking/ attitude of I can due ownership/ not being identifible, that concerned me.

Clearly I was not specific enough. Thanks for this, very helpful.

They didnt discuss it with me before putting it on their profile. At the time, it was taken to be a moment captured/remembered for us, and not shared.

No, I wouldn’t be happy with that. Taking an intimate photo to be kept as a momento on a personal device is different to sharing it on public pics here. If that’s what they were intending to do with it, they should have made that clear at the time (or checked with you before posting it) so you could say you were ok with it or not.

Without expressed consent, No! We have many pictures including others and featured on other's profiles as well.

All with permission to do so, just respectful to do so we feel.

When we have taken photos of a meet, we have always swapped them and checked that everyone is happy with them.

Under no circumstances would we ever post a photo without prior agreement and would always ensure that no recognisable features are displayed.

consent can also be about who can show the photo and where just because someone was ok taking the pic and gave consent does not mean its been consented to show anywhere or everywhere the new laws cover that ...

so if a boyfriend took some pics that were consented and later on decieds to show them else where then hes basically in trouble same applies to swingers and others this thinking they own once consented is false and everyone is right to challenge just because you gave consent does not mean they can do what ever they wish with it ... fab knows that and thats why they act

these new laws cover every angle so that people cannot be embarrassed or exploited even when at the time taken the pics were consented

When I see a male profile with pics of loads of different women that he is having fun with and there is very little to no verifications always makes me think there was no consent given.

Under new laws that are coming in, posting any nudes of someone, without permission, will be dealt with as harshly as revenge porn.

So be warned

The lawyers and cash junkies will have a field day on here once the first few cases are done. On the flip side, always be very careful at meets.

So I do have a few photos of me with others that permission was gained at the time, there are 3 or 4 when other person is in public photo - buts it’s a hand or top of head so hard to identify

Yes I do have private photos that may be more explicit. Then I have photos for personal usage which have persons full face

I reported a guy who'd took photos of me as I sucked his cock (I didn't know), and suddenly my hand on his cock was one of his profile photos. I have a distinctive tattoo.

I guess without explicit consent of 'yes I'm happy for you to share these pics on ABC or with xyz' a person cannot ever assume they are for anyone's eyes but their own.

I also don't think legal copyright or not being identifible (subject to opinion) trumps explicit consent, either.

If you don’t have specific permission from everyone in the pics that you can post them on your profile, you shouldn’t be posting them on your profile.

Downright rude if nothing else.

Pictures I have taken get sent to the ladies concerned: they can put them in their galleries if they so choose.

Only myself in my gallery is my go to rule. Meet partner out of shot. I don’t think it’s ok to show other people in your own gallery (just my opinion of course).

I haven't read the whole thread so forgive me if this has already been said but nothing should be posted without consent.

The other people in my pics, both friends only and public, have given their consent even if they are not identifiable.

We do have pics posted of meets in our public gallery, but for each and everyone of them we sought permission from those that appear in them. Likewise for pics that are posted of us on others profiles, it’s just common decency. We’d be absolutely furious if someone posted pics of us without seeking permission. Not sure where the law sits with this one, but if it’s not illegal, it certainly should be.
