I really don’t mind what people get up to on here but I think it’s a bit low conning people.

I lived in Thailand for 5 yrs and I can spot them a mile off it’s even easier with the European versions.

I could of course be entirely wrong and being overly sensitive (I acknowledge that it does happen from time to time) but somehow I doubt there’s any difference between the two for OP and that both are men in their view

Well, that's what I thought. I then got confused by the mention of Thailand.

If he's actually talking about men dressing up as women and pretending to be women, but not in any kind of CD/TV/TS way, it's not something I think I've seen here.

I read through the thread & I'm still not sure if OP was talking about men hiding behind female profiles or if there was some kind of subtext he was hinting at.

His profile only seems to add to the confusion. He states in the text he isn't after single men or TVs, yet has "cross-dressing" listed as an interest

But plenty of men and couples have dodgy verifications too. Photo verification isn't a magic bullet and is easy to fake using software.

The simple rule is to think with the big head rather than the little one and not assume all is as you see at first glance. A little 'homework' checking verification trails will easily identify genuine members and with no end of options available for off site video chat it's easy to arrange a 'proof of life' conversation without leaving your sofa.

Catfish have been around as long as the Internet. It would be naieve to think there were none on a free swingers/sex site.

As an unverified by the site woman on here that is my choice. Does it stop me getting meets? Probably.

However there are fake accounts on here on all sides. I have also seen photos that are not allowed by some admin but appear on others profiles. Such as kink cards, or just toys etc.

The system isn’t fool proof. I am always happy after a few messages to prove with a photo of their choice, holding anything such as a newspaper or a piece of paper with their name on it.

I will only progress with a phone and video call

So whilst I understand there are fakes trust me they are on all sides. They are also on all platforms and dating sites

But if you still have doubts after doing various ‘tests’, asking for a simple, quick phonecall to reassure you that ‘she’ is an actual female, either leads to the start of a new friendship, or the convo stops dead

Suggesting people with trans identities are "conning" people is just a tad transphobic, perhaps?

OP you can report these profiles you spot to admin who will change the type of the account if there is a discrepancy. Also if you don't like them by all means block and move on, you're entitled to that. What you're not entitled to is have people "declare" their trans status on their profile, like any personal info it's up to them to disclose. Yes fabs is a place people may try out these expressions either to live out a fantasy or because it is a relatively safe space (online/anonymous). Why is it a problem?

I think men do it so they can bypass a cpls blocking filters. I cannot see a ts/tv generating a female profile as most cpls have filters to block or allow them and to be honest a fully transitioned ts is a lady anyway so why would she bother to? Guys also generate couples profiles to again contact couples or women who have single guys blocked.
