You do get hard, but it's restricted. During the day it's usually fine, but night time erections are stronger and can be uncomfortable.

Essentially if you're wearing cage expect to be uncomfortable quite often

Oh and to answer the other question the cage should be as long as the penis is flaccid so you can pee correctly, and the ring should allow a couple of fingers in.

You see all kinds of BS regarding chastity play from horny men wanting to live a fantasy. Be sensible and make sure it's comfortable. Try a cheap knock off holy trainer v4 kit off eBay to get yourself started and do your research.

As anything , yes it gently fir a few hours, use plenty if a greasy substance to not get any chafing, check it does not get too dry. Wear at night when alone and keep in as long as possible until real discomfort, as that is its purpose
