Avoiding the wanking dead

Our club experiences to date haven't been great. We haven't clicked with anyone at couples events, and Mrs K is put off events that allow single men because she doesn't like guys just following couples and wanking over them. What's the best club around London to avoid the wanking dead, and does it reduce their numbers or eliminate them?

I don't know anything about London clubs. My clubs of choice are all in the Midlands, but in 13+ years of visiting clubs I've only experienced this a handful of times.

Maybe you have been unlucky......or maybe I'm not appealing enough to follow round while having a wank

Personally me and My Girl have found this is vastly reduced on couples nights. Still occasionally get a guy or two who's parted from the lady their with, but no gangs of guys. Also different clubs/nights/times seems to be better or worse (don't know the London scene so can't advise).

As to how to avoid them not real advice apart from digression and sneaking off to a play room without them spotting you. It's a bit like a life zombie role play. However we have been in clubs where there is loads of single guys and few couples. In this scenario we've found they very quickly become aware of your no longer being around in the social area and flock off in hopeful search for you. Sometimes we'll run off, find a space and just have a private conversation. Sure another the guys find us, realise we're just having a mundane conversation and leave. Then once they walk away we fuck the shit out of each other.

It's not that we mind being watched. What bothers us is them all just trying to help them selves to a piece of our actions or one or two of them trying to push their way in. Or something it's the distracting comments or cringy noises being made or the heckling. That's annoying and distracting. Most guys are great but it's just one or two who ruin things and prevent you from being ablebto enjoy the club care free.

If you are interested in things beyond swingers clubs, Klub Verboten does not allow solo wankers. It’s a kinky queer rave with a playroom, as opposed to a swingers club, but you can have sex there (it doesn’t have to be BDSM sex although they have BDSM equipment). Solo people are allowed in the playroom but if anyone touches themselves while not being involved in a scene, they get removed.

We don't know the London clubs, however of the seven clubs we've been to we've not had problems with guys. We go to a club that allows single men, we go and play in a lockable room, sometimes with a voyeur window so we can be watched (but you can't see them). Some men will indeed watch some action and play with themselves, however we've never heard of anyone who's been wanked over that didn't want it!

need to be pointed out its not just single guys alot of them are one half of couples too ..

also to be fair its not all clubs that this happens and there are guys who do know how to control themselves ..

we find those who follow and wank are the ones who never play and more often than not are the guys who go very regular i dont think they want to play they just want to see and wank ...but its easy to say no to them most of them back off when you say no even if you have to say it a bit louder ...

Er, when you say creepy noises and heckling, what do you mean?"

Cringy comments more than creepy (granted cringe is subjective). That sort of cometary out loud some guys make. And not always just the words they say but how they say them (if that makes sense). Or sometimes those strange random sex noises sent in our direction. I know everyone is there to do their thing. But personally just prefer people to enjoy watching and keeping their comments to them self rather that giving out running commentary and opinion. Just seems bad form/etiquette to me. And yes we've heard what I'd describe as heckling in the past. Although to be fair when I think about it the worse heckling I've heard in my time have both been from women. The worse was two very young d*unk women who also threw their empty cans through the cage door. And the second worse was by a lady (we know to be a regular) who likes to e centre of attention and her freind. I suspect the heckling was because this time she was not centre of attention as our freinds were playing with us not her or her freind. We were all not impressed by their dickish behaviour and left the room. So to be fair when I think about sometimes the worse behaviour has been women.

My line is that if they can’t be bothered with me in the bar, I can’t be bothered in the playroom. I won’t engage with someone I don’t recognise now. That’s cut my drama back 90% or so.

I’ve been to eureka as a single guy and a couple - I was fascinated my first time , I was on own , I found myself saying “look at all those guys following the women and couples around ..,I’m better than that . But …As soon as I saw a single lady roaming ,I was following -if I saw a couple in a room I was desperately trying to get them to notice or watch .

It didn’t occur to me how I was acting until I went with a partner, and received the same attention .

It put me off going as a single guy tbh , but I did go back and tried to control myself … Still it inevitably got the better of me . I walked by a room to watch , and was invited in !

It’s a difficult feeling to control if alone .

That being said , it’s down to having respect - if you can tell the cpl or single lady is not interested then walk away . Or go on a couples only evening .

Hilarious title!

We find this too at clubs. I guess with single guys paying 2/3 times as much as a couple I guess they feel like they are owed a show. It really kills the vibe though.

We just sit there and stare at them unresponsive till they go away.

Not all single men do this. I stay at the bar, chatting and hoping to be invited to play. Hasn’t happened yet, but I’m forever optimistic.

Maybe the problem is I wait to be invited and I should be more forceful. But I like to think of myself as respectful.

Some do try to get in the Naked Room rather than watching through the window at the Attic, but a death stare from one of the group usually is enough to repel them

We like single guys.. Y's quite the exhibitionist, but we've experienced similar on nights when the less respectful men were in attendance..

It's very off putting to lift your head and some guy, you've not even spoke to is stroking it less than 2 feet from your face!!

Have only done organised events or couple's only nights since..

I'm pretty sure they have some clear rules about it at Jaydees and from what I remember reading on one of the posters on the wall it says anyone caught bothering someone doing it will get kicked out, I still find the odd guy lurking around the private rooms asking to join as you go in with someone but they normally go away when you say no

No clue about London, but Dangerous Curves nights at Liberty Elite and Curvaceous Creatures at Purple Mamba don't get them at all really....which is a big part of why I (a single guy myself) go to both. Neither tolerate disrespectful tossers (of any description!).

It doesn't just apply to single guys though - we all get a bad rep. die to the dickheads, but there are couples and single females who also behave badly in clubs.

To be fair there are plenty of places/nights where us single fellas are completely unwelcome - and those where we get sneered at, no matter whether we're good guys or not.

I find this wanking dead thing really weird. Just had my first club night, as a single male, and went with two other couples who are friends. Although we mainly stayed as a group, and played, I also had a wander round, seeing what the score was, watching some people playing etc. At no point did I feel like getting him out and waving it around like some sexual predator. I watched smiled and moved on. I was amazed when I saw a young woman walk past and groups of guys turned, like zombies, and started to follow her, they didn’t have a clue where she was going, or what she was doing, but off they went, like they were under a spell. Are all clubs like this? No wonder us single guys have such a bad reputation

I often meet my FWB at kestrels and guys following you is a regular issue but if we want privacy we go to a private room. We are both at heart exhibitionists so we often enjoy them watching and if anyone steps over the mark we are both good at letting them know.

If you don’t want them there at all then I would suggest a couples only night or like us go for a private room

"When I used to go to clubs as soon as I left to go the loo, or for a walk round, I was followed like the Pied Piper but not with rats just by what I used to call the Cock Conga. Thought it was something I had to put up with til a member of staff saw them and soon put a stop to it

I had this in chams. One guy id say was late 70's kept following me to the toilet and locker room. Became quite creepy. Jo

I'm a fainter and so for daytime events usually take a few snacks with me. I was sat in the locker room eating a sandwich one time. A bloke that had been following me for quite a while was stood in the door watching me eat. He asked me if I wanted to fuck, I said I'm eating a butty.... He said I can wait and was going to just stand there and watch me I presume Had to say no thanks "

Good lord what is wrong with people??

Great title.

As a single guy I do find it funny watching a line of guys following a woman/couple to watch and wank (never understood this, I might as well be at home watching porn - easier to clean up too).

Did see one woman decide she wanted to be watched, it was like when bees have a predator in their hive, the guys swarmed her hoping she'd touch them and vice versa. Couldn't even see her. Spoke to a couple in the same state of bewilderment and when did go to a room together later.

Some guys seem to think that paying for entry = guaranteed action.

I remember when walking to the dungeon area of old Abfab you'd know if nothing was going on as the wanking dead would be trudging back to the house soon as me and the the wife walked past they would spin and follow us back to the dungeon, we'd do a check to see if anyone else was there then go back to the house where they would turn and follow us.

Uurgh, the wanking dead are the enemy to everyone. I'm a single guy & I enjoy going to social events but I am naturally quite shy when it comes to starting conversations. Because of the way the WD behave, I either end up looking like one because I'm walking around trying to find a way to join in with a conversation or If I actively approach anyone, their first thought is probably "oh no, here comes another one". Anyone who proves they are not part of the zombie wankers should be allowed to carry a rubber X stamp to plonk on any offender's forehead. XXX and they go home

Loving your thought processes! I have no doubt all the good, considerate guys feel pretty much the same.

The actions of those guys (sometimes the male half of a couple!) make me feel very aware of being a single guy who's potentially under scrutiny in any club. That being said it was a female crossing the line repeatedly last Friday at Libs, who I suspect will be getting a ban!

We had the wanking dead follow us around at Quest.,and any other couple for that matter.

Their loss, as we will never go back there again.

This seems to be common at many clubs, and more stringent rules clearly need to be in place.

The events I go to have 'tours' for any newbies - to include 'does and don'ts'. If these kind of things happen the perpetrator is banned, never to return. Not difficult. As a result the only single guys (or anyone else for that matter) that go are ones with excellent reputations that grow over time, with them being very welcome on the nights.....which is often a rare thing in itself, with so many clubs just treating single guys as a cash cow to keep the clubs open. Let's not forget there's a flip side to this. Not all single guys are morons, with the good ones loathing the ones who misbehave just as much as everyone else, not forgetting it's not always just single fellas who are the badly behaved.

We've found hosted nights with a strict guestlist are the best nights to avoid this problem. We've met some lovely guys at events like Hot Wives Club and Dark Desires. We also went to Vanilla Alternative on Friday who only allow 10 single guys in and they must be members and apply in advance. Again we had a great night and met a lovely guy with no hassle whatsoever barring the odd stare which we don't mind anyway. It certainly depends on the club/event. Do your homework and go for it, you'll love it we did and still do.

" If you are interested in things beyond swingers clubs, Klub Verboten does not allow solo wankers. "

There's no loyalty amongst single guys - in an argument between you and a single guy they'll want to be on your side.

It's like sharks - once one is injured the others all turn on him.

Having said that, I agree that the way to reduce this is for clubs to treat guys with more respect, and exclude the ones that aren't up to standard.

Any club worth their salt will deal with it for you

I had it at a club once. I was being persistently followed by my two guys who were friends. They even waited outside the toilet for me coming out. I told them in no uncertain terms that I was not interested, but still everywhere I went there they were.

I spoke to the lady on the main desk, and they were out the door as quick as a flash.

If you have a problem with a persistent zombie wanker, any decent club will sort it out .

Down the back of the sofa.

"Personally me and My Girl have found this is vastly reduced on couples nights.

Most guys are great but it's just one or two who ruin things and prevent you from being ablebto enjoy the club care free."

Heckling is the worse.

I was mid scene with two women when someone loudly started commenting and critiquing my performance.

Handily, I was using a large flogger, so with a bit of back swing I was able to create some space!
