"We’re almost 60 and have always been very welcomed at every club we’ve ever been to. Pleasures, Kestrels, Penthouse, Jaydees to mention a few. Don’t try and chat up the youngsters and you’ll be fine lol " We have actually been chatted up BY youngsters on occasions. Mind you a 50 year old is a youngster to me.

"Hi everybody. We used to go to Abfabs, Radlett, Tease 2 and other organised venues in our late 40s & 50s but now just into our sixties. We haven't been to clubs for a long time (especially as the pandemic stopped everything), but now wonder whether we'd be accepted in such venues as now possibly outside of the age range most associated with such places. We were thinking of giving the Penthouse Playrooms in Dunstable a try in the near future but just wondering if anybody has any advice. Would we be accepted? Would we be welcomed by such places? Would we stand out like a sore thumb? We'd absolutely hate the idea of being turned away because we've gone past our fifties but at the same time, we wouldn't want to impose ourselves into a scene where we are not of the correct age group. We realise that clubs don't usually have age restrictions on their websites but there are some who explicitly have an age group boundary. What are the opinions of others over 60? Do you still go to clubs and find them welcoming? We go to naturist places now like Silverleigh and Eureka where there is no age discrimination whatsoever but we can understand how swinging night clubs might want to attract a younger crowd and possibly discourage those outside of the standard partying age group. All comments appreciated." . I can understand when you get to a certain age you wonder if clubs are for you.I was a month short of my 50th birthday when I applied for and was accepted as a member at OP4F a club in North London with lots of fabulous reviews on Fabs.l am now 54 and I see couples and single guys and single ladies my age group a couple of years younger or older than me when I go to OP4F as well as younger generations. If the location and travel is ok for you it maybe worth looking into it.Best of luck with whatever you decide

That staff and guests are super friendly. I’m sure you’d have a great time.

Pete who runs the Hellfire Club is 69 and I'd shag him for sure. He's full of energy running around the club making sure everything is working and everyone is happy. You can ask the club if you are unsure but I really don't think anyone would bat an eyelid. Most of us are middle ages as far as I can tell.
