Lesbian Friend Pregnancy

Chorley, & East Lanc's

One of my friends is in a lesbian relationship. Personally I and my other friends, don't like her partner for reasons I'm not saying here, and we don't think they make a good stable couple. But my friend wants a baby and can't afford a fertility clinic. So my friend ask me my thoughts on my partner HM getting her pregnant naturally and to ask him if he would? She's never been with a man and she is willing to have sex to get pregnant and doesn't want sperm donation and home insemination. As a couple we are okay with the idea and have discussed all of the options. But would you do the sane for a friend?

No I wouldn't under any circumstances but especially if I thought the child was going to be born into an unstable relationship.

The first consideration in any situation like this is the child.

Now I sound like Judge Judy.

Basically a lesbian friend who has never had sex with a man, wants you HB to fuck her so she can have a baby inan unstable relationship.

Don't go there..just Don't....

It's an extremely bad idea and is unlikely to end well.

I did actually mean to add... That we decided that we are not going to help due to the nature of their relationship situation. But sods law my phones was interrupting me while I was typing.

Hell no!! If you don't like her partner why on earth would you help them have a child?

Have you researched the legal implications?

Maybe your HB is attracted to the idea of fucking " lesbian"...

Maybe it turns him and you on.

That is not what you original post implies, you say you are okay with the idea. But obviously you are not getting the feedback you would like.

Basically do you want to be a step mother and your husband a father to your friends baby. Plus the financial burden if things change in the future. There are so many reasons why sperm donations are anonymous.

And your partner then liable for child support, far too many red flags

My thoughts too. This is not a good idea on any level, what makes you and your partner okay with it, and if you are why say you're not doing it?

I can't understand why a lesbian wouldn't prefer artificial insemination to sex

I personally wouldn't do it because I would want to be involved in my childs life and upbringing.

If the lesbian couple want a child so badly why does it have to be your mr that they get the sperm from? Why not just have a one night stand with a stranger instead if all they want is a baby daddy.

Sounds all a bit too close to home in my opinion, especially if you don't approve of them being a couple anyway.

Wouldnt your partner effectively already be a sort of father figure to the friend who wants him to father a child

Unless through a clinic he'll be financially responsible.

Does nobody else care that it's not our place to say yay or nay to a woman getting pregnant? Thousands of women do every year without a third party having a veto.

This is a disaster waiting to happen, I'm glad you realise it's not a good idea.

A few months ago Mr Fox had a message from a trans male friend of his who asked if he could have his sperm essentially.... I was fucking outraged and they wouldn't have even been having sex! - Xeno

Do you care that it's the potential father's choice in this situation to say yes or no also?

The salient point would surely be whose sperm is used not the method of delivery. My cousin in in a lesbian married relationship and they have 2 children with a friend being the father. Didn't seem appropriate to ask how it was acchieved.

If you're gonna test all these friend and relationship lines, you might as well just go the whole hog and arrange a couple's swing night between all 4 of you.

Get a few drinks, suck and fuck each other in every position manageable and bring the pregnancy in in style.

Absolutely no way!! And I don't think she's a very good friend for even asking.

You're talking about a real life human being which would grow to have feelings and which your husband would in the eyes of the law have full responsibility for.

If there are reasons that you and others have for having issues with her partner I would suggest that you politely decline the request and suggest that they find other means to get pregnant just our 2 pence
