We have a dilemma. Three years ago we had quite a few photos on our profile. A guy who worked with G tried it on with her. When she told him she was not interested he downloaded the photos and distributed copies to a load of friends and family. The sh*t hit the fan big time. Still not being spoken to by some family members. We deleted all our public photos. Now we get loads of couples who we cant message because they have a "no photos-no contact" block. We are happy to send photos once a connection has been set up.

Anyway round this?

Put up some pics that don't show faces or identifiable features such as tattoos or family photos in the background.

Several years ago we found a very close friend on here by accident. We noticed the pic, wanted a closer look at the profile and saw that on the wall in the background of her profile pic was a picture of us!

You have the right idea in meeting at clubs and getting verifications from there to show you are genuine. Then trusting the others to be patient before sending face pics. Happy swinging.

As others have said upload a photo that can't be identified as you. Otherwise you'll need to accept that there are certain profiles you can't contact

If your not going to display photos (for obvious reasons) most of us will over look you. Lots of profiles out there to choose from. Plus many people see it as a potential red flag. I don't see a solution here. You'll probably just have to take it as the price of extra online safety. Do you get out into the club scene? If not that could work for your circumstances.

I'd probably add a short note, that you had an hate attack, after having public pics before, hence your current caution. Have some pics public, otherwise you'll get missed from many searches.

Just make them helpful to others, in their evaluation of you but without any features that could identify you in any way.

Have other pics ready to share, with carefully vetted people. If you can use clubs, you'll pick up many contacts, reducing the reliance on others' fab searches finding you.

It doesn't, it happens when they cheat and make one public to message then move it back again after.

I just delete any message I get where people cheat to get through my filters. Even if they share pics in the message or say they will later I don't care I look at the profile before I open the message and delete it if they have no pics public.

As for the OP if people don't want a message from people with no pics unless you want to put pics up then just move on. There are loads of pics and body parts you can put up where no one will recognise you again but there is no reason for you to put up pics if you are not happy.
