Hi

Is there a way of upgrading someone’s else profile as like a gift or something or would I have to physically send them the money over so they can do it themselves?

I thought there used to be a way of paying for a profile, other than your own, to become a site supporter….

Any ideas people? Xx

You just use the text upgrade and send them the code. However I would say that it's against site rules for people to ask for this and you should be wary if they are and report them.

If someone has asked you it’s against the rules

The person didn’t ask me. It’s a friend of mine who I’ve known from here for a couple of years.

I offered to help them because they couldn’t afford to upgrade so thought I was doing something nice for them.

Thanks for the advice though folks

I had men in the past ask if they can buy me membership but then I feel like I owe them something so it's a no from me

If it's a real friend of yours yes why not? It's just like buying them a gift to express how much you mean to them. Random strangers i would be wary about

This is exactly what it was.

It’s someone I’ve actually met before so I know them away from this site as well…

And I agree, I’d never do it for a stranger.

That would be weird…

Thanks again for the advice though xx

Lol noooo… I’d never do that. I hate writing my own profile, nevermind someone else’s

I’m glad it’s not just me that’s done it before then.

I ended up just sending my friend some money with online banking and added £20 as an extra something…

Great, great profile by the way xx

And if you’re friends with them, why wouldn’t they take you up on a genuinely nice offer.

I didn’t do it to get anything back in return - I wouldn’t do that.

As for the extra, they’d told me that they were struggling because of energy bills etc so I had a bit of spare cash so added that as well…

Haha I wouldn’t move round my way!

My friend lives in Doncaster and I’m in Reading so we’re not exactly local to each other.. be careful what you wish for. Reading isn’t all that xx
