So having learned that you like to travel alone you now want to travel with a group?

Presumably you mean more without a partner / other half?

I’ve been alone a few times whilst I like my own company during the day it’s nice to have friends to go out with in the evening

Have you considered an organised tour ?

I did a holiday with explore in the summer and it was amazing. Group activities during the day but free to do your own thing in the evening

I travel for a living

Downside is the loneliness- tables for 1 at restaurants, etc. it’d be fun to go with likeminded people sometime! Great idea! x

I travel alone

Dinner alone movies alone concerts alone and play alone most times

try having the nearest friend relative etc 5000 miles away... You get used to it.

Spent a week in Leeds this year 3 weeks in Florida and a week in Amsterdam

I would like to get away and happy in my own company, its the extra cost for solo travellers that puts me off.

Same for men. I’ve been on a few holidays alone - cycling in France, skiing.

The days are great but a big part of a holiday is a fun meal in the evenings. You end up eating alone most times. Mind you, people watching is fun and I’ve seen some couples eating that may well have been better off alone as they looked bored to death with little or nothing to say to each other

It's something I enjoy

Daytimes are fun in places where there's plenty to do and see and I like the freedom of just suiting myself.

I agree that dinner alone isn't the best, but I think it would be worse sharing it with strangers

There are travel companies that host single travellers. You're single but part of a group. More popular with older people and often to more obscure places. My friends been to Mali, Togo and Benin, Ethiopia. Not my thing though. I like being "alone" alone when travelling. Fewer witnesses;-p

I been travelling on my own for quite a few years now. Going on my next solo adventure, after 3 years of absence because of covid,in December. Abit apprehensive but I'm sure i will have a marvelous time, meeting new people and men to have fun with abroad

I like the freedom of doing what ever I want, going in a group would just be way too much for me as everyone will be so different and I just couldn't cope. Once you done solo travelling, you kinda don't want to go back on relying on others.

I've travelled alone on one holiday just four years ago. Daytimes were great, sunbathing, walking and swimming. Evenings were quite lonely. Couples everywhere or so it felt. Find the right partner and its far better as a couple.
