Depends on how long you have been on the site, I have 134 verifications been on here over 12 years which is just under 1 a month

Not sure if that is good or bad really

No hard and fast rule.

I saw a couple with about thirty veris from one night in club. No one had had sex with them.

It depends what you’re looking for.

They verify the person is real.

I got turned down for having too many veris in a short space of time.

I guess it gives some another factor when searching for someone to fuck.(which is why we’re here!)

I've given two people two verifications, where one is a very short confirmation that they're the person in the photos and met as agreed. Then maybe another more descriptive one once I've got to know them as a person.

It is a bit strange when you click on someone's veris and it reads like a captain's sex log with 10+ verifications from the same person.

I think it's all dependant though, no? I only meet folk I establish a good/friendly flow with prior. But if say someone has a lot due to attending say a social that's of course a very different matter

It’s usually evident from the content whether it’s from social meets or play meets! Its not off-putting when from socials just play meets!

I try to state where /how I met people. So I may stipulate it was social only, club or party. I try to show verification that are clear back out to people reading mine as well.

If I'm looking at profiles too many obvious play in a short time is off putting for me but I acknowledge a social event,club can get a number for the same time.

It's about everyone going with what they are comfortable with.

If you organise large socials or go on cam in the chatrooms on your own, you can have loads of veris without ever having actually had sex. Plus people can hide veris. So it’s not really telling you much, if you judge by the numbers alone.

We avoid profiles with lots of veri's. It's quite intimidating as we're still cutting our teeth in this lifestyle and in our experience those with loads have very little patience. I'm sure there's people who aren't like that but it only takes one bad banana to spoil the bunch.

They could be from social meets, others veri every person they meet in the club, a veri doesn't mean someone has fucked, multiple veris from the same person, again no views other than possibly they like a veri or they like that person a lot

All I read into a veri is that the person is as described, and hopefully turn up as planned, the rest should be kept between the two parties involved

We currently have 80 odd veris, we aren't particularly experienced on the scene (only started since covid restrictions were eased) but we go to clubs fairly regularly and many of them are just social ones. We like reading them and if people had hundreds it wouldn't put us off

Not the number overall per se but depends on over how long and what type of veri.

100 plus is fine if over years but if 10 in the last few weeks from different meets puts us off (different if from a club/social where might meet 10 people in one night)

Also get put off if large number of veris but vast majority are social. Gives impression more into repeated socials and chat than play.

I guess we all look at this differently. Some probably put off by our veris although not that many in scheme of things.

I remember a few years ago that it came to light that some ladies were dictating to men that they wouldn’t meet them if they kept seeing (enter username) here. I was one of said profiles and the reason being we were ‘slags with too many veris who will shag anything’. Mine by a large proportion are social meets but, in honesty, I have had ALOT of fun in the past years too. The numbers on my page just don’t advertise it as what it is.

Personally I’d RATHER meet someone with lots of veris, that way I know it’s someone worth networking with and they probably aren’t as likely to disappear next week or send my pics to their IRL mates.

I was asked to join a couple with over 500 verifications, none of which were social, many of which were 10 to 15 guys per meet whilst they were out dogging. Still not sure what to make of it really. This is a swinging site, and each to their own, it's nobodys business but theirs, but at the same time I wouldn't want to feel like I was just the next object on the conveyor belt.

Having a good few veris that pretty much say the same about your character is surely a good guide for people looking at you as a potential, I have to say very early on I arranged a social with a couple who club on a regular basis and has loads of veris mostly social, I was really nervous as I saw them as super experienced and out of my league but I now know people like that are amazingly relaxed, know how to make you relaxed and serious when they arrange something which let's face it is getting so rare on here now.

Up until recently I've always displayed every veri I've been given. My reasoning being that there is a great deal of consistency in the language used by different people to describe me. I think that suggests the kind of guy that I am and what you're going to get. And if that's not what you're looking for, fine.

Also, I take on board the 'lamp post pissing' but I thought (quite possibly naively!) that having a number of veris from the same person indicates that I was worth meeting again.

Ultimately we're all looking for different things I suppose, and there's nothing wrong with that.

I don’t display my veri summary, and don’t have all of mine showing, just a selection of favourites and most recents.

It’s nice to be able to read other peoples, but not essential, especially as I don’t tend to meet people primarily through fab due to timewasters etc.

95% of the time when I’m talking to people in the bar at Chams I don’t know their fab names, even people I’ve known a few years

Some people will only meet others who are verified as it proves they are genuine some people i no cud easily meet 10+ people with a new verify every week ended up with profiles from 100+ people in no time but havin that can put some people off so it all boils down to the individual really. But people with just 2 or 3 on show are normally not a very reliable meet

Not bothered how many, we sometimes look if we have met any ourselves.

No. You can't have too many veri's.

Fab is at its heart a contacts site designed to put users in touch with others. So anyone with a lot of veri's is only using the site as it was intended by the creators.

If anyone finds 'too many' a turn off then that is of course their prerogative. But that viewpoint is personal to them.

I have 150 - some of these are social meets in a club or social event - some are play, some are people that maybe left scene and rejoined. I know a number have been removed as well

150 sounds like a lot but really if you think I go about 20 times a year to a club and even if I meet 3 people that’s like 60 people in one year - I have been in scene nearly 20 years on and off lol

It's not judging but using information to find the most compatible people to spend time chatting to and then hopefully meet and fuck. For example if a couple has 50 veris but almost all social then probably not for us (and we have chatted to such people). They are entitled to do what they want and we can pick people that seem most compatible with us. No judgement.

People attend clubs,parties and socials. Doesn’t mean they’ve slept with every single person who gives them a verification.

Verifications used properly aren’t a list of things you’ve done and who you’ve done them with. They’re meant to be used as proof that you’re genuine, who you say you are, and that you’re trusted to meet up.

Unfortunately those using them as cheap porn scripts to describe meetings dilute their true meaning.

We certainly haven't played with everyone that we've received a veri from, or provided one to come to that!

But they are a snapshot of how you've interacted with people over time.

We often look at veris to look for consistencies. If every one says a couple is friendly we'd believe that would be a practical and honest assessment.

Multiple veris from the same person is a plus for us too as we prefer repeated interactions rather than, for want of a better phrase, "one night stands".

I'm super fussy who I meet and based my last fab meet on what others said about him. His verifications turned me on more and reassured me to want to meet him. Luckily for me, he is just like what others say. Phew I'm all for lots of verifications. From the same person doesn't bother me. To me that person must think really highly about that person to want to write more than 1 verification. I can write more than one. I'm not sure what stipulates too many veries, personally I like to see veries nothing is 100% but for me good veries show that someone is reliable, likely to turn up and are genuine. From reading various threads over the years on the subject of verifications, it seems the answer is yes/no/maybe/not really/possibly/it depends.

Some people insist on recent ones, some dislike too many recent ones. Some want a few, some want lots, some don't. It's a 'how long is a piece of string' question, there's no right or wrong answer, just the one that suits each person.

Beyond the fact that someone who is meet verified is more likely to be genuine than a blank profile with no veri's, I'm not sure I'd read too much into it either way.

I'm sure I've recounted it before but when I was new to going to clubs, I got talking to someone at the bar who identified as what Fab calls "TV/TS". They offered to verify me, I thought that was a kind offer and might help me stand out/be more successful in finding meets. What actually happened was I got a load of messages from guys saying "you have a veri from a TV so you must be bi"...

So it's not just the right number but the right kind, and again, everyone has their own right answer.

In all the years I've been here I've lost count of the number of times I've seen women admit to doing exactly this on various threads.

I've read lots of comments about asking for recommendations or asking friends for a review on some guy they had met.

I've had women contact my verifications asking questions so it's not exclusively guys who do this.

I call it networking without consent.

To answer the OPs question, I am put off by people with lots of veries because I'm only interested in meeting those on a similar journey to my own so anyone attending parties and events every week are on a different path and we wouldn't have much in common.

I am put off by the content of some veries ie over the top graphic ones. I look at the verification trail and if he's left one claiming to have had her squirting all over etc that would be off putting.

Also if they've met certain people that would probably effect my decision too.

What makes you think that? The specific example given was a man. It’s exactly the same if a woman does it, and the reaction would have been the same.

Because I've seen it said by many women over the years admitting that they do it both on here and in chatgroups. The few times they have been pulled up on it the "ah but" crew appear to say that it's completely different because it's all about safety.

Asking someone how good a guy is in bed has nothing to do with safety.

So many responses to say that sometimes verifications puts them off, but not because of the actual number but because they do not like the content, the tone, the people who verified them, if they are from socials or play meets, too long, too short, bad grammar or whatever etc etc.

What on earth has to do any of that with the actual sheer number? The OP question was not whether people like verifications or what the content/tone should be. Except for the responders that said that just one verification puts them off (fair enough answer to OP question), the question still stands: how many is too many? How many is acceptable for you?

Indifferent. High or low number makes no difference

Not at all. Likewise, a total lack of veris makes us more cautious, but not a problem if their messages and responses tick our right boxes. Couples with more than one year in Fab and no veris or profile text that explains why are a big red flag. Never ever any of the conversations with those couples have come to any meet. Go figure!

-Does an extensive 'history' assist you in making a more informed choice?

Yes, kind of. Not the number of veris, but other details are useful. For instance, verifications means they exist and are genuine, and they actually do meet for real, so fewer chances they are fakes, fantasists or wasting our time. We also look for recent verifications and how sparse they are. If they have been verified mostly by couples matching what their profile looks for, sounds better than couples saying they want to meet couples but have 25 verifications, out of which 23 are single males and 2 are from couples that met them on a social 8 years ago. Regarding what is written, reading the verifications from others is pretty meaningless, however reading what the couple that we are prospecting has written about other couples/people they have met is far more useful to understand who they are and if we might be in the same wavelength.

- What does someone having had multiple veris from the same person say to you?

It tells us that the profile likes to repeat meet other people/couples. Two veris from the same profile is pretty normal in couples: one from a non-play social and one from a follow up play date. After that, it is odd they keep verifying each other if they meet again, but no big deal if they do. If they are good swinging friends of us and they verify us for a 5th time for example, we would correspond, of course.

I've had people concerned that I have too many veri's even though 95% of them are from big social events. One person decided not to see me again.

I've also had the experience of deciding not to meet with someone anymore because she was clocking up two or three veri's a week. There's no judgement there it's just not the connection I'm looking for.

Like everything here it's just preference and that's perfectly ok.

No the amount of verifications do not put me off people, it is easy for them to rack up if you go to clubs and social events.

I think if they're all very graphically sexual it can make me a bit meh about them. It really does depend on if I think we would get along etc.

I have been surprised by the judgemental nature of some people on this site. Its supposed to be somewhere to meet others interested in the lifestyle.

I don't display my veri summary as the number I've got is irrelevant but know it would be a problem for some despite how long I've been here and meeting

I display a few just so people can see I'm genuine and good person.

I always read someone's veris when looking at their profile and find them helpful

Yes it puts me off op if someone has many many veris where it's clear they've had sex....

I'm interested too to see what type of women they have met....too many veries also gives me the impression they're not very select in who they meet....& that's a major turn off for me....
