"1) If your going from a bush - trim as much hair as possible with a number 1 or bare blade hair/bodyhair shaver. 2) Exfoliate the whole area to remove dead skin cells and help lift flat hairs to prevent the ingrowing. Use a glove with some femfresh. 3)Shave in the SAME direction as hair growth first and THEN OPPOSITE. 4) Use a fresh clean razor, rinse and wash it thoroughly and try to remove all hairs get some barbicide (or similar) to soak it in after each use or some antibacterial spray - dettol will do! 5) Only use that razor upto 3/4 times. I recommend Wilkinson Sword Quattro (for men or women) also any Gillette Venus both of these i believe come as disposables. The quattro have little wires over the blade, iv found it impossible to nick/cut myself and i really go at it quite fast and rough lol 6) Use an oil to shave - not a soap/gel/foam this irritates the skin and causes a breakout/rash/reaction, baby oil is great but wash the oil off afterwards with a feminine hygiene soap to help remove the lanolin. 7) Pat the area with a clean towel, to remove excess water. Dont rub, this will irritate the freshly treated skin. 8) Use a none perfumed rich cream like e45 or something used for eczema, apply straight after the bath/shower when the skin is clean, warm and moist. 9) Wash it twice daily with femfresh and moisturise with the same cream day and night and ur foofoo will be smooth soft and supple with a soft regrowth too!!! SOURCE: I'm a beautician and i have had problems in the past with a rash and do often get very bad ingrown hairs. This is my best way to manage it Let me know how you get on if you try this way xxx" Wow thanks will give that a go x x x | |||
