Hi, we should not be able to receive messages from single guys unless we have previously spoken to them, however we are getting messages???

Depends if they've contacted you before you put the message filter on.

How the block works, if you block a user after a message. They are unable to later send a message as they become in your block list. Unable to continue to contact you nor see your profile information.

Were you able to see their profile information or didn't you check. Because they might have changed their profile name by something so small unless it's a bug ..... Then I'd suggest contacting admin via the option you have at the bottom of your profile contact us....

The point we're making is that we're happy to carry on talking to single guys we've been chatting to but don't want any more to be able to message as we get inundated.

I thought that was made clear in the original post!

Then I believe check message filters if you block guys those whom you are already chatting with will still be able to
