Getting that first verification

Hey!

So I am struggling on this front… people either don’t wanna meet if you don’t have a verification and when I’ve video called someone they aren’t verified so we can’t verify each other!

Any advice?

Webcam with someone who is verified. Ask if someone will meet you for a coffee in public to verify you. I've done that a couple of times.

Sorry I don't do webcam. They are one way of verifying people though. And then it's up to people themselves as to how much store they put on webcam verifications, or any other veri for that matter.

Cam veris for men are kind of pointless as most people won't pretend to be a single guy whereas a female or a couple are often unfortunately fake profiles

Best was to get verified like has been said Is club meets or socials, reality is people ( especially women) arnt going to invite a total stranger into their home or vice versa for their own safety, it took me quite a time to get verified as I joined during covid lockdown when everywhere was closed down and meeting was forbidden

People come from far and wide for socials, there is a Bognor Social starting up, and socials in worthing and Brighton every month. Or Abfabs have a social every 3rd Friday which isn't too bad a drive from Soton.

Go out to clubs and socials.

We wouldn’t take any notice of a cam veri.

For us verification by other couples means that there’s a reasonable chance you’ll turn up and that you’ll be “comfortable” in a room with a couple.

We’ve been fucked about too often now by unverified guys.

Most are fake anyway? In my experience the fakes are rare, and easy to spot...

I think just having a veri doesn't say a lot anyways. What is said in the veri, who it was said by (I.e. from a well established and decent profile or a not so great profile put on last week) and that it was a meet in person. Most people do scrutinise veris.

Also don't sweat it, we all start without a verification. If it was a case we couldn't meet or get a verification without a verification non of us would meet or have verifications. So just keep at it and don't worry about verifications. A lot of people don't do verifications anyways.

If its really important to you and/or you want to get out there on the wider scene try clubs or social events if you don't already.
