Go to a club or two and chat, be friendly and respectful. Don’t go with the expectation that you’re guaranteed a play - if you do, then that’s a bonus.

Some information about what you offer. Why would someone choose to meet you rather than other gents of a similar age.

Maybe alter your age range. If you are happy to get together with people from teenager to a lady in the 90s you are desperate or too lazy to change the numbers.

Put effort into your profile. There are hundreds of posts giving advise; so do a forum search .

More than 16 words I would suggest.

In all seriousness, have a look across the forums and you'll find advice regarding profiles that you can apply to your own. It's not easy for a single male on here, but the best thing you can do is put some effort into it and not expect everyone else to do it for you.

I didn’t read all their profile, sent a wink and then when they were sending aggressive messages after I had apologised

Don’t think they liked the wink and went a tad over board with the reaction

More than 16 words I would suggest.

In all seriousness, have a look across the forums and you'll find advice regarding profiles that you can apply to your own. It's not easy for a single male on here, but the best thing you can do is put some effort into it and not expect everyone else to do it for you.

Read profiles. Only message if you actually meet their requirements. Bashing out the same copy and paste message won’t get you anywhere

Don’t get upset if your message is deleted without a reply. Nothing worse than deleting a message then the begging and demanding message comes along.

When messaging, try show a little bit of respect.

We get a lot of stuff that just says “can I throw my hat in the ring”, which is a sure fire way to the block list. Consider your words carefully.

Some like winks, some don’t so if you’ve read the profile and it says winks are deleted, don’t wink

All in all it’s really simple and common sense stuff, but if you had to see a couples inbox, or worse the amount of messages a single woman receives then you’d likely get a perspective of how it is and why people are fairly ruthless with deletes and blocks like we are
