Face pic

So I receive a message from a woman wanting to meet in a hotel (husband unaware). Sounded pretty good to be honest and then it went all tits up when I asked if I could see her face as the only picture she had public was a dick in her pussy.

She exclaimed that she didn't need to and I was to basically sell myself first. She then starting critiising the fact I've been on here for a while without a veri and accused me of being a pic collector?? I'm not.

Am I in the wrong for wanting to see a face pic so soon?

I understand some people needing to be discreet but I didn't really feel inclined to "sell myself" for someone that I may have not found attractive.

Bit strange... I often dish out a face pic fairly early if I'm engaging in chat with someone. Especially when I've messaged first

As she was the one initiating the meet I think it’s reasonable to want to see a face pic.

Sounds like she was wanting you to jump through hoops. Why expect you to “prove” yourself?

Exactly that, I was definitely not prepared to jump through any hopes, Especially with someone that got so aggressive about my own profile for asking

I understand the need for anonymity on a site like this, however as she was the one to message first, it seems a bit suspect on her side! seeing as though your not hiding anything ! your face is on your profile picture!

If it's sharing a picture privately in a message then it shouldn't be an issue if people won't share a face picture before meeting then I will not meet them just as I wouldn't expect to meet someone without first sending them a face picture of myself

I think it's fine if she doesn't want to share a face pic - I tend not to. Equally fine if you're not comfortable with that.

Although it does sound like your hotel meet would have been dependent on chatting further (reading between the lines of her "sell yourself" comment), and it makes sense that she wouldn't want to send a pic until she was fairly sure she'd otherwise like to meet. I guess half the site would have her face pic if she sent it to everyone she'd swapped introductions with. Not ideal if you've got a husband you're trying to keep out of the picture.

I would have accepted this to be fair. Think I was more taken aback how defensive she was and taking a swipe at my profile instead

In this case the woman liked enough of what she saw on your profile to want to meet you, she can’t possibly have expected you to make your decision without you seeing her first.

I’d suggest it wasn’t a genuine profile or that she’s trouble. Either way, best avoided.

I'd say it's entirely plausible that "she" was expecting the OP to make all the effort and sell himself without seeing a face pic.There is a substantial amount of ladies and couples on here that use both the ratio of single men to females/couples and the instashag mentality of the majority of single men on here as justification to expect the moon on a stick when it comes to single men.By that I mean if a single male doesn't jump through the (usually ridiculous) hoops that the aforementioned single ladies and couples insist on,there's a hundred others that will.They also get abusive quite often,safe in the knowledge that the general opinion on Fab is "most single men are trash" so whoever they are insulting will be seen by most as the one in the wrong for "wasting their time".

Hopefully that makes sense,and I'm in no way implying that the whole of Fab is like that,but in my experience it's not uncommon.I find the best way to deal with such people is to block them and call it a lucky escape.

Given you said had veris I'm not sure. Plenty of odd, aggressive and demanding single ladies here. Even more lovely ones of course but it's not just twatty men on Fab. Ladies get so much attention here it can go to the head of some.

But some veris albeit hidden so probably not. Not definitely I know but if more than one most likely a lady. Funny how people think that is the reason. Some ladies on here are just demanding and twats, like the men.
